Gilda the host was fantastic, the property is stunning, the kitchen has really good quality utensils. sitting in the house looking out over the North sea with the wind blowing and snow coming down, whilst in the warmth of a lovely home was priceless. Its my wife's perfect environment and she did not want to leave!! Gilda the host was great, we actually got our car stuck in the snow at the bottom of the hill, we were supposed to leave at 10am but Gilda had already called us to see that we were ok with the snow that had come down, and she said no need to rush out the following day as there were no tenants due, this took off great pressure as we stayed util around 5pm had dinner at the property and then headed for a slow snowy drive to Lerwick to pick up our 7pm crossing on the boat.

The location was perfect for us and the attention to detail and convenience in the property was second to none. The views were incredible and so peaceful. All cleaning products, washing machine tablets and dishwasher tablets all provided, so handy that we didn’t have to buy these. Every question I had was answered immediately and they were amazing at accommodating our needs. I can’t recommend this property and its hosts enough. Thank you for our amazing stay 😊

Perfect views and an excellent breakfast spread (hot and continental options!) If you're driving, the location is central and easy, and there is decent but limited transit service. Well-appointed guest kitchen with stove, ovens and fridge was a helpful bonus. Rooms are simple and beds are comfortable. David is a friendly and helpful host. Would stay again!

The property was lovely and the view was incredible. The owners had recently renovated various parts of the house, including a brand new kitchen, so everything was very fresh and clean. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond with any queries we had. We would definitely stay here again for future visits to Shetland.
