The breakfast was absolutely great. So much selection. Yummy choices. Lovely staff who were attentive and efficient and caring. Our cell was amazing, large, comfy, clean. The best stay anywhere for a long time. The whole 3 days at Bodmin Jail Hotel were the best. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and totally recommend the Hotel to everyone. Bodmin itself does not look the best but staying at the Hotel is a good base to branch out in the area. Lanhydrock was a wonderful place to visit and also the Owl Sanctuary, 🦉, highly recommend both places.

It felt very clean which is so important

Amazing facilities, lovely big apartment in the old manor house. I wish we had booked longer to make use of the facilities. Kitchen had everything we needed (except tea towel and oven glove). Lovely grounds and fantastic laundrette.

Absolutely fantastic experience at this place.It was our first time staying here but we would definitely do so again.The house was clean and well stocked with all that we needed.The house was very warm and cozy.We really enjoyed our this trip and kids were very happy with swimming pool.The pool area was not crowded and that was very peaceful.Thank you so much .

it was in a really nice quiet space no main roads it had everything that we needed and close to shops and near to where we were working

We had a lovely stay here as a family. The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, and the whole process was really easy. The children loved the garden and the Swedish hot tub was a great addition! The location was perfect for us – quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to easily get to the beach. It was lovely to come back to somewhere calm and relaxing after a busy day out. We had a great trip and would definitely recommend.

Minimal human contact, Easy check in Lots of facilities like hair dryer, fan etc

We stayed for a week 2 adults 4 kids was so lovely great place to stay and so quiet really enjoyed it would go again

The Granary no 1 is 2bed 2bath with an open plan lounge kitchen dining area. It is very well fitted out and there was nothing we needed that was not there during our stay. The location is perfect for days out for all the usual places one would want to go to in Cornwall. Bodmin is only 2 miles away and it was possible to go to Bodmin on a back lane, which avoided having to cross over the main A30. Norman the owner lives next door and is a fountain of information.

location was spot on, the property itself surpassed all our expectations , very clean everything we needed was there , all amenities were within easy access , this is a perfect property for a family base to visit Cornwall

The proximity to the areas we wished to visit in Cornwall. Able to walk into town. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to park our rental car on the property.

Everything, the history the people the family

The property was spacious, clean and comfortable. It is the first property I have stayed in where the kitchen was well equipped YET there was still loads of storage for my food etc. It was central to the main road so we were in the High Street within a minute of leaving the flat and there was some traffic noise in the lounge and double bedroom . I needed to use taxis for my appointments and Iceland (opposite) was a good place for being picked up and dropped off at. There were also cafes, restaurants and takeaways within a 5 minute walk.
