Hotels with Parking in Lockerbie

I arrived on my motorcycle on Saturday 9th May. The hotel has a fabulous garage to keep cars and bikes safe. Met some lovely other tourists in the bar and the bar staff and hotel manager were very engaging. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying there.

We had a wonderful time. The room was lovely, big and clean, vast choice of food for breakfast, kind and welcoming staff. The dinner we had at the restaurant was delicious, they also let us keep our dog with us while dining and having breakfast. Special mention: our dog was spoiled by the staff, cuddled and so very welcome.

Large historic building, very impressive features, but decorated in a modern way. Although it wasn’t a cold November, a wood burning stove was lit in the dining room, giving the room a warm and cosy atmosphere. We had a delicious meal, perfectly cooked. The owner was very friendly and helpful, as soon as we had checked in, he took our luggage to our room without being asked. My husband is disabled but likes to do things himself even if he struggles so this was a huge help. All in all, a lovely overnight stay, I would recommend highly.

Fantastic find! This was a wonderful four day stay for our group of 14 people. The owners took great care of us, going out of their way to make it a most pleasant stay. Loved having breakfast available, a good variety - eggs to order, fresh, warm croissants, fresh coffee or tea.

I liked Everything from the warm welcome upon arrival to the fabulous breakfast prior to my departure and everything in between including a luxurious room and deep bath which was made good use of after my bicycle ride from Glasgow.

We had a lovely time at Courtyard Cottage which has absolutely everything there you could ever need or want, a complete home from home for all ages. My 6 year old son said he wanted to move there he loved it so much. Unfortunately my husband became unwell just before our stay so we had to leave a little early for a hospital appointment and in our haste left behind some items which the host very kindly sent back to us which was most appreciated. We will definitely return.
