All the staff were really lovely very helpful and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. The food was amazing time taken to make sure it was right and cooked to order perfectly. The room was very comfy and the bed was very comfortable as well, all really clean. So yes we had a great stay and we will definitely be back.

A truly special place surrounded by beautiful nature, tucked away in a peaceful and remote part of the Exmoor National Park. Alan was friendly, kind and incredibly generous with his time, a lovely gentleman. The area is beautiful and peaceful, you could sit in the gardens read and drink tea all day and be content with your visit without visiting the local area! Though there is a marvellous bee farm just 5 minutes away which is worth a visit for the cream teas. We booked two rooms, both were clean and well presented. The bathrooms were immaculate.

We couldn't fault our stay at Edgcott House. It is a beautiful clean and comfortable property set in delightful gardens on the edge of the village. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were exceptional.

The place is amazing. Their facilities are clean and accessible. The place is so organise. The owner is so accommodating and checks on how we are doing. The pitches were surrounded by donkeys, sheeps and horses which the kids really loved. It exceeded my expectation because the place and facilities were kept clean and organised.

I loved it here! Lovely looking, well kept cottage in a beautiful location with a swimming pool! The kitchen was full of useful stuff so cooking was a breeze, and the host and housekeeper were very friendly and helpful. There are some great walks straight from the door like Dunkery Beacon (if you fancy a ling walk) and Tar Steps and Withypool Hill (much shorter) and places like Lynmouth / Lynton and some lovely beaches are a very pretty 35-40 min drive away. Getting there you need to follow the directions provided, sat nav takes you down an unsurfaced track that’s a dead end
