Lyn&Steve are super hosts and amazing people. Not only did they accommodate my dietary requirements, but were super helpful and caring with my flat tyre problem. They saved me, literally. The Hayloft is the perfect place to retreat from city madness: quiet, cozy, and equipped with everything you need. Views on the church and plants are a plus. Breakfast was great, just what I needed. The room is cozy and has a nice hot water shower. The staff were very helpful. It was a frosty morning when I left, and they cleared the frost from my car, so it was safe to drive, and they kindly provided directions for my next stop.

I wish, I could have stayed longer in this lovely bed and breakfast. The historical estate, which is renovated with a lot of love for details, is telling stories. The big and comfy rooms and the blooming garden and the terrace, overlooking it, are fantasic. Breakfast tasted like in a star kitchen. Parking is easy. A short walk away along the Exe-river is the Crown Hotel Exmoor, which is a terrific and cosy place for the evening with excellent food and nice people!

I loved it here! Lovely looking, well kept cottage in a beautiful location with a swimming pool! The kitchen was full of useful stuff so cooking was a breeze, and the host and housekeeper were very friendly and helpful. There are some great walks straight from the door like Dunkery Beacon (if you fancy a ling walk) and Tar Steps and Withypool Hill (much shorter) and places like Lynmouth / Lynton and some lovely beaches are a very pretty 35-40 min drive away. Getting there you need to follow the directions provided, sat nav takes you down an unsurfaced track that’s a dead end
