Everyone knows that travelling can be wonderful and exhausting at the same time. If you are looking for a retreat in the Pankisi Valley and would like to be pampered by an attentive host who takes care of you with delicious meals and that little extra service, Melissa's Guesthouse in Duisi is the right place for you. I spent two nights there in a spacious double room and never missed an opportunity to enjoy the lush garden with its beautiful flowers.

I was surprised by the excellent location in addition to the general calm, and most of all the successful management and the assistance we received from the owner, who made us feel like we were in our home. Thank you very much.

Friendly and hospitable owner, super comfortable mattress, clean and spacious room, well-maintained bathrooms. There's some information about Nazy's struggle, Pankisi Valley's culture, and trekking routes. Meals are also delicious at a very reasonable price. I took part in the half-day walking tour. The guide, Mariami, speaks good English and is knowledgeable of the local culture and surroundings.

Our stay at Pankisi Wooden Cottage was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip to Pankisi. The cottage is beautiful, cozy, spotlessly clean, and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. It is the perfect place to slow down, enjoy the peace and quiet, and experience the unique atmosphere of Pankisi Valley. It is also an amazing place to visit with a group of friends. There is plenty of space, and a group of up to 8 people can stay comfortably. The outdoor area was one of our favorite parts of the property. there is a lovely covered dining area, a dedicated fire pit, a barbecue, hammocks, and a spacious garden with everything you need to spend a wonderful day or evening together. You can cook, have dinner outside, sit around the fire, relax in the hammocks, and simply enjoy the mountains and the peaceful surroundings. It really feels like a place made for spending quality time with people you love. What made our stay especially memorable, however, was the incredible hospitality. Tina and her parents are absolutely wonderful hosts - warm, kind, generous, and genuinely caring. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed not simply as guests, but almost like friends of the family. Her hospitality went far beyond anything we expected and made our experience truly special. The cottage itself has everything you could need for a comfortable stay, and sitting outside or on the balcony surrounded by the mountains is simply magical. The whole place has such a peaceful and authentic feeling that you immediately feel at home. We left with wonderful memories and a real desire to return. If you are visiting Pankisi Valley, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Beautiful nature, a lovely cottage, and above all, exceptional hosts with big hearts.
