I stayed one night Tony and Lali's house. It's not an ordinary guesthouse like others in the area. Although I travelled solo, i really didn't feel myself like a stranger thanks to friendly and warmful house owners. The dinner and breakfast was very delicious and rich. While having breakfast in the morning it was pleasant talk with Lali. She is a very sincere and intelligent woman. I wish the best for these two couples.

Such a warm family! We had hiked in the rain/snow all day and the daughter checked in on us and offered a ride to the house. They also helped us dry our wet boots by the fireplace and arranged a car when the weather wasn’t favorable for further hiking. Great dinner and breakfast spread as well!

We are vegetarians, and the food was great (dinner, breakfast and lunch for the road). The room and the bathroom were renovated. The housekeeper was really friendly. The village Barshi is cozy.

It is a very sweet family business, owners are so kind and friendly. You can have dinner and breakfast in the place. owner's mother cooks the meal for the guests. They were soo good and delicious, dont miss it, also try their delicious Georgian wines. The guest house is in Svaneti region surrounded by mountains, trees, rivers. You can have a half day hiking to go to waterfall which is an experience you should not miss.

We stayed one night at Melen in Pari and had a wonderful time. It's a great place to rest especially if you are on the trek from Chuberi/Nakra to Mestia. Our room as well as the entire house were very clean, modern, comfortable and freshly renovated. The family was very nice and welcoming, and served us a huge and delicious dinner and breakfast (it was actually a feast!), consisting of khachapuri, lobiani, stews, soups, salads, bread, wine and much more that felt really rewarding after a long hike. Eka even helped us get through the village past some guard dogs and even offered us her phone number if we should ever get in trouble on the trail. This is a lovely family with a great home - you'd miss out if you didn't stay there.
