Perfect stay. The staff was really lovely and helpful. The room was amazing. Clean, big, comfortable. Food was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Location, nice views around the beach and friendly staff

Our family holiday was excellent. We always conduct our reviews based on our expectations of the value we paid. The food was as expected, we all could find food to eat and we were satisfied. Drinks were standard for a 4* all inclusive in Greece. The hotel itself is set on a hill side so there are lots of steps to get used to going to and from places (it wouldn’t be suitable for someone with difficulties getting about). Of course, this is why the views from the hotel are amazing. If you’re unfit then go to the beach at the main bay with all the restaurants (take a taxi). The walk back from the closest beach requires very high fitness levels. The pools were clean and the queues at bars weren’t bad at all. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and keen to help (a special mention to Irene on reception). Our room was cleaned daily and we were left water each day. We were lucky enough to have a shared pool just outside our room and this we really made great use of. The views are absolutely stunning from the bar balcony and the beautiful Cretan breeze is a relief in the warm evenings.

A very good stay! Upon arrival, we received a room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel territory is huge and very beautiful with wonderfull sea views. The food was excellent, cocktails at the bars were okay, and the service was good. There are also pools for children. The evening entertainment sometimes good sometimes not. Beach party evening was nice. Rooms are cleaned daily.

The apartment is fabulous, clean, and right on the best part of the beach, close to a quiet taverna and free sun loungers and umbrellas. From the rooms, you can watch the sun set directly over the sea. It's an ideal place for a relaxing holiday, yet strategically located for exploring Crete. Two other tavernas are within 100 meters, and more can be found in the village of Fodele, just 3 km away. Special thanks to Penelope, who welcomed us with kindness, generosity, and discretion. 10!

Apartment is really spacious and there isn't anything I can think of missing.

The location is very good, Fodele is a lovely village. There's a children playground just in front of the Mandarina Grove and plenty of little shops/tavernas. There's a beach in 5 mins drive from Fodele. The apartment itself is quite small but very cosy and has everything you might need during the stay. It's also nicely decorated. There's a lot of sunlight coming in to the apartment during the day, which is very nice.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The village are great and spacious. In the kitchen you have eveything you need to make simple meals during the day but you have great restaurants near by as well. There is a very nice view by the pool. Mary came every 3rd day to change the sheets and to bring new towels which had an amazing smell and were fresh. We came with our baby and they provided a cribe which was amazing. We will come back for sure!!

The location is amazing: in the hills, in the middle of a beautifully landscaped garden. It is just minutes away from the Fodele beach (not a crowded one, very good prices, great views) and minutes away from the village where you can get anything you want and eat at several restaurants. The house itself is extremely well thought, good space, nice solid furniture, it feels like a house, not a hotel. A lot of character and anything you might need is there. You don't get just a house, you get a property and a whole experience. The kitchen has any appliance you can think of and there are also plenty of supplies. I also appreciated the small library (travel guides but also novels in various languages). I got my hands on an Agatha Christie novel I had not read before :) and we loved the telescope to admire the moon. You have a choice of terraces or maybe give them up and choose the hammock under the olive trees or (like my kids) be an adventurer and go up on the house itself. You can pick your own lemons, limes, grapes and pomegranate. I barely saw my kids once we were there: they had so much to explore, so many hidden places to discover. Despite all these great things, it is our host Kostas that should receive the main praise: for his kindness, availability, generosity. We loved the pottery lesson and are very proud of our 'artistic' achievements. Thank you, Kostas, for sharing with us your house and your passion!

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly, the whole resort was cleaned each and every day. The rooms were cleaned also everyday, bar fridge was always stacked. Food was realy realy good.
