We had a fantastic week's stay at Villa Melissa. The house was beautiful, perfectly clean and had absolutely everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. My wife and I often struggle with uncomfortable beds when we're away from home, but our bed was perfect. It's remote and very quiet, so the kids were free to enjoy the good sized pool without worrying about disturbing neighbours. Sylvia and George were wonderful owners. They were so friendly and gave us great advice on things to do locally, but were never overbearing, including when they met us at Villa Melissa late at night after our flight was delayed. They made it clear we could reach out any time if we needed anything, and that made the whole stay feel really relaxed, not to mention some lovely local produce to start our holiday off. We would 100% recommend Villa Melissa and would love to come back.

Everything about this place is just great: It's beautifully located, on top of a hill with fantastic views from the terrace, surrounded by olive trees. The host, Yiannis, and his entire family are so very welcoming and kind. They provided us with with fruits and vegetables on arrival, and even put a self-cooked casserole dish in our fridge to enjoy. Would go back any time!

The villas are amazing, designed with beauty and functionality in mind. Maria is a fantastic host, helping us with every request we had during our stay. Area of Arkalochori is a beautiful region of Crete, Heraklion is nearby and stunning beaches on the south side (like Listis beach) are also not that far away. The villa had everything we’ve desired - great pool, outdoor area with a huge dining table and gas grill, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, fast WiFi and even a first aid kit! I’d love to come back here in the future :)

This place is truly special. The hosts are very kind and always helpful. The rooms are cozy and very comfortable. Breakfast is fresh, tasty, and full of local flavors. If you're looking for a quiet, unique spot in Crete, this is it.

The house is absolutely beautiful, situated in a very nice, small, traditional cretan village, in the middle of the mountains, but very close by car to southern beaches. It has everything, anything you need, like in your own home, it is spotless clean, modern, beautifully decorated, very cosy and homely atmosphere, very comfortable beds with new mattresses and high quality linens. The terrace and the garden are great in the mornings and in the evenings to spend time with family or friends. For those who want a very quiet place, far away from crowded people, this is the perfect place! I fully recommend it!

We stayed in Villa Kanaki for 7 days: two families (4 adults and 2 kids) and we were very satisfied with modern interior and cozy mood. The living room with fully equipped kitchen opened to the swimming pool area was amazing place to be all together. Also our host Charissa and her family made us feel like home taking care of our comfort during the whole stay and spoiling us with best moussaka we ever had! The location is great to drive around the north and also the south part of the Island. We score the place 10/10 🙂

The property was beautifully decorated to the highest standard and the owner has thought of every little detail. On arrival we were met with an array of wines, fresh fruit, cheeses, cold drinks and more. The outside area was fantastic and where we spent most of our time. The pool was clean and the temperature was perfect to cool you down. We loved the traditional bbq and used it most nights.
