Hotels with Parking in Omalós

Very warm and heartful family hotel with local food. The daughter(?) speaks excellent english and has a lot of recommendations to do. The accomodation is perfect for the Samaria (just 4 km away) hike as you can start early before the masses if you want. They drive you even to the start! But with a few more days there are more options, especially for some mountain hikes like the Gingilos. Had a lovely stay there..

Amazing hotel with exceptional food and staff. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms were clean, old furniture, nothing special but was enough for us. Walkable from Samaria George

Newly decorated and Location was perfect for an early morning start for hiking near the gorge. Food very good and traditional . Aircon too and very friendly staff

I spent five wonderful days at the Gingilos Hotel. I couldn't have asked for better. The first floor room, with a view of fields and mountains, was large, quiet, comfortable and clean to a fault. The bed was firm and comfortable and the water in the shower was hot. The restaurant downstairs was equally brilliant with large, hearty portions of very well-cooked traditional Cretan food, cold beer and lovely wine made by the owners themselves. It was a great place to return to after long walks in the countryside, some in poor weather. I intend to go back very soon.

The breakfast was excellent - fresh bread, orange juice, eggs. The most amazing thing is the location - among pastures with sheep :) A perfect place for trekking in the Samaria Gorge. Very friendly owner. I recommend!

Very nice house with everything you need. Comfortable bed, nice location, very friendly owner and neighbors.

Warm welcoming and nice room, perfect location in the mountains to visit Agia Irini gorge!

Amazing. Simply amazing apartment. A nice and comfortable interior - but the view… it’s incredible. You have to be there to truly feel the atmosphere and vibe; no recommendation can convey that unique feeling. Also, the owners’ hospitality and service are top-notch. Already dreaming of returning 🙂

literally everything was perfect! this is our second stay at the wonderful villa Aeolus. If you like calm, space, a panoramic view and real cretan hospitality, you will love this house. It is exceptionally clean, comfy and equipped with eveything you might need. And the hosts are the best ever! Efcharisto poli to Olga & Sifis 💖

The owner, Mrs Katina, is very, very hospitable and helpful. She brought me me lots of Cretan food that tasted wonderful. And the apartment is just perfect. It is equipped with everything you can think of, it's spaceous (also the terrace) nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. There are two air-conditioning systems, and the shower would be big enough for two people.
