Argini was a last minute hotel booking for me, my wife and my parents. It had only recently opened, so obviously there can be some trepidation, but the whole hotel experience matched the website. The hotel is incredibly elegant - taking a beautiful neoclassical building and modernising it. The end result is beautiful - the fixtures and fittings of the rooms were first class. The hotel was small and boutique in size, and this meant the service was very personalised, and all of their recommendations were spot on - from restaurants to beach clubs. The food at breakfast was superb, with an excellent selection a la carte. We also ate there one night for dinner, and the food as exceptional as well - the fish was sourced from their choice of local fishermen, and for me, the local fish ceviche was spot on in terms of flavour balance of salt/sweet/heat, and that's not something you can always say about modern food in Greece. The hotel is family run, and I think this is reflected in the warmth of the service. All the staff were excellent and accommodating. We had a car and an added bonus was a private car park for the property - a rarity in Ermoupolis I think. The location of the hotel was fantastic. A few minute's walk from the town square and hall, a minute's walk to Agios Nicholas church and a few minutes walk to Little Venice where you can have a swim off the rocks if you like.

Absolutely perfect choice if you want a beautiful,quiet place,close to the beach with amazing view of the sea❤️ Personel was very kind and helpful. Our room was very nice,clean and comfortable. Azolimnos has a great localization,15 minutes by bus to Ermoupoli. Azolomimnos beach has everything you need,great restaurants with delicious seafood and greek specials local food,bars but it’ s not crowdy. It is a great quiet island, with not many tourists, more greeks than tourists❤️ Local restaurant close to the beach has live greek music every friday❤️

What an amazing place to stay! We had a top floor room with a fabulous balcony overlooking the surrounding area, we could even see the sea one way. The room was freshly decorated to an excellent standard, immaculately clean and very comfortable bed. Great location for the port and bus station with a 10 minute walk to the main area for bars. If we ever visit Syros again, I will book here..

What a gorgeous hotel. Right in the middle of the harbour/town, about a 1 min walk to the old cobbled street and a also towards all of the cafes and restaurants and shops - everything is right outside the front door.... it's a great location, and also a 8 minute walk to the ferry port, where you can easily roll your luggage along the foreshore to the ferry terminal. The hotel is beautiful, well decorated and the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. We had a cute ( tiny) balcony overlooking the water, great big comfy bed, strong air-conditioning, strong wifi, a good sized bathroom, space for our luggage, plus breakfast is great and lots of choices ( for Greece) and you get to enjoy this on the patio overlooking the town and the street in a lovely little environment. There's a grassy area at the back of the hotel to sit in the sun, and there's another outside patio running around the property to have drinks. The staff were so friendly and helpful, esp Katarina, who organised a carpark for us as we hired a car, printed off boarding passes, helped us with directions etc.... really friendly reception staff. The rooms are clean, spacious and the hotel is elegant. It's literally on the steps of the main port and town so the location is great and if you hire a car there's parking and one road in/out of town, so it's easy, but we walked everywhere in the afternoons/evenings and the old town is on your doorstep. Worth a stay and great value for money.

We had a wonderful time at Captains. The location is charming, overlooking Kini Bay, and the apartment was very nice and perfectly clean. There is free parking available, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. We were even given a free room upgrade to one with a beautiful sea view, which was a lovely surprise. I can’t recommend Captains enough.
