The hosts are very nice, we had a long chat with them over breakfast. The food was homemade and very delicious and the room was incredibly clean

We had a wonderful stay at Grandma Eugenia's. This is authentic Greek hospitality at its very best—living up to the ancient Greek tradition that elevated hospitality to a sacred virtue under the protection of Zeus Xenios. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a traditional Epirus style, spotlessly clean, and impeccably maintained. Breakfast was exceptional: fresh and delicious, featuring local products, homemade pies and cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, and wonderful homemade jams. All of this is set in one of the most beautiful villages in Epirus. The two women who run the guesthouse are outstanding hosts. They spoke passionately about how they view their work and their philosophy of hospitality: they welcome every guest as if they were arriving at their own home. That warmth and genuine care were evident throughout our stay. We wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend this accommodation. It is one of the finest places we have ever had the pleasure of staying.

Th bed was very comfortable and the room was quite large. Fantastic shower. Breakfast was large and very yummy (took some take away). Wish we could have stayed longer.

Individual accommodation, grouped around a central garden space., are attractive and spacious. More importantly, our host was very kind, helpful and welcoming. A great stay and we hope to return one day.

If your goal is to rest both physically and mentally, this is the right place. The silence, the clean air, and the natural beauty all work together to create a deeply relaxing environment. It’s easy to forget the outside world here.

The room we had was amazing. Lot’s of space. Very comfortable bed. Bonuspoints for the Nespresso machine. Amazing breakfast, really top. Many healthy choices. You can easy start hiking from the village. After the hike you can take a nice warm bath. Just perfect and that for an amazing price.

The location is just in the middle of Zagori, all the sites are reachable by car within 30-45 minutes. At the same time, it's a very quiet and peaceful place. Very kind and generous hosts. In the restaurant they serve traditional food, authentic and tasty!

The hospitality and vibes of Epirus

Highly recommend this traditional stone guesthouse. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is very generous with lots of options.

An excellent choice for an authentic and unique experience of the historic and picturesque Zagorochoria villages & Zagori region. Well located close to other transitional villages, to beautiful nature attractions and various activities. Warm and welcoming owners and probably the best and most delicious breakfast you can get! Definitely recommended.

The room is located in a group of old stone houses that are being renovated by an association. Everything is renovated with taste and respect for the original architecture, materials and style. We had access to a pleasant living room and the house's kitchen. The host was very kind.

The owners were very sweet and helpful. The room was a good size, and bed was comfortable. Parking was easy.

Location is good for walking the Vikos Gorge. Lovely, clean room and bathroom. Very quiet. Staff were very attentive and accommodating. Nice to have breakfast served at the table and not have a buffet style breakfast.

Everything about our stay here was excellent. It's a family run hotel and they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was immaculate, with a very comfortable bed and the whole hotel was in true Zagori style. Breakfast was so good! There was a wide variety of food to choose from, with quite a few home-made delicacies from the owner. We would love to go back to Monodendri and stay here.
