A solid stopover option in Ende. Basic but clean rooms, welcoming host, and easy access to nearby spots. Nothing fancy, but reliable for a night or two.

Stop here if you do end up in Ende! Comfy, very clean, good wifi and cold ac. Hot showers and good facilities. The best budget stay in Ende, I wouldn’t stop anywhere else, you have not got a lot of choice in the area and honestly the other budget accommodation is sub par. You won’t get a hot shower anywhere else in ende for this price!

Spacious room, clean, comfortable. Namira is wonderful and very helpful.

Really nice staff who picked up us at the airport and even drove us to the bus the next morning for free. They even made earlier breakfast because we were catching a bus early. The place has a really nice restarea where you can have coffee and tea for free. There are shops and restaurants nearby.

We had a lovely stay at Moon Bungalow 2. The room was clean, the view was beautiful and the atmosphere was peaceful. The restaurant downstairs is excellent; we ate there every day during our stay. A special thank you to Ciprianus, the owner, who is kind, reliable and always willing to help. You can arrange transport with him at fair prices and he will take you to wonderful places around Moni and Kelimutu. We also highly recommend a visit to Ranggase. If possible, ask for Maria, who explains the traditions, rituals and daily life of the Lio people in excellent English and with great passion. Take a photo of the sky after dark with the lights off. Spectacular! A great choice for anyone looking for nature, local culture and genuine hospitality.

Augustina and Tam have been great hosts!!!They helped us with transport in the area and they organise our entire trip back to Labuan Bajo,providing us a driver for a fair price.Tam took us to Kelimutu and Koka beach.We had dinner two days in a row...the food is delicious!!!She made two different menu for us and everything was so good...the room are very spacious and very very clean.Hot shower.Mosquito net.The view is incredible....go here you won't regret it if you want a very authentic homestay...thank you so much again!!!

Hidayha There are no words to describe how wonderful my time here in Moni at Brian and Rose‘s Homestay was. I arrived one day ahead of my booking. Just around lunch, and the guests from the night before just left. So my room was not ready yet. But still, i felt welcomed the minute i got there. While Rose cleaned the room, Brian had coffee with me on the terrace and explained me the surroundings and what’s to do around. From the house with the nice garden you have a great view over the hills. And i could observe how clean Rose prepared the room. And she didn‘t just changed the sheets, she changed the whole blanket. Brian has a motorbike and offered me to show me around and to drive me up to the crater in the morning. He even invited me for dinner because it was his daughters birthday. During dinner with the whole family I really felt like a part of the family. They are all very polite, friendly and funny. Specially Brian makes a lot of jokes. And Rose is an excellent cook! The location, like most homestays in the village have, is very good. There is an ATM just next door, and the best restaurant from the village is just across the road. The house has a beautiful garden and an amazing view. Rose and Brian did all they could and more to make you feel happy and at home. They are not after the money, they want you to have the best time you could have in Moni. Although the whole village still strouggles from very little tourists since corona (having such an iconic mountain right above the village, most of them depend on visitors) For me though it was great, that there weren‘t many tourists. I had a very authentic and great time in Moni. For my departure they Brian could organise a seat in a shared taxi to Bajawa. They help you to get on the right bus, and can even help you to organise transport to all of Flores. (There was another guest who did a private tour for a few days from Labuan Bajo to Moni with Brian‘s Brother.
