Great hospitality! Yesi & the family are so nice and they share everything they have, we had a perfect stay. Bathroom is really basic (authentic indonesian experience), but clean. If you want luxury or western bathroom, then maybe this is not for you, but you would miss out on a beautiful stay with a lovely family. Food was also very good, we are vegans, and Yesi cooked great meals for us (although we havent announced it before). They also helped with the tour on the boat. (You could give english lessons to the kids/village while there, if you want. We only learnt this too late unfortunately - great idea!)

Good location, close to local attractions. Right in front of the hotel is the Bat Cave and at sunset you can watch millions of mice fly out to hunt. I express my gratitude to all the staff of the hotel who were able to quickly solve all my issues: transfer, tour of Makassar and currency exchange, washing linen and organize a personal guide to observe birds and butterflies. This made it possible to completely relax from organizational issues. I also want to note the excellent cuisine and huge portions, I took the recipe for the most favorite dish.
