Definitely a place to return to. This nice resort is located in a dessa outside the city, near rice fields. The staff is incredibly friendly. The service and attention very personal. The tasteful design has been implemented throughout the entire complex. You can see the influence of owner Warwick Purser in this. Suggestion: Visit the Oma Budoyo gallery. The Lotus restaurant in the hotel has a varied menu. The quality is constant. Very tasty and authentic. I was looking for peace and seclusion and a good place to write. The suite I had was very pleasant. You need earplugs if you are not comfortable with the sound of the calls to prayer! The city no longer appeals to me. d'Ohma hotel is a good place to stay longer and take trips from there. Book your stay directly at the hotel; they make you an attractive offer. I don't think everything has to be perfect. d'Ohma it was. This was my second visit. I will come back again.

Staff are friendly and accommodating, very fast respons. My partner was a bit sick in the beginning of the stay and they gave us medicine. The bungalow is better than the picture! We felt home directly after we arrive. Restaurant offered wide variety of food, vegan/vegetarian friendly. We also tried their tea blending class and it was fun. Location was a bit far from the city but we stayed 80% in the bungalow. Will stay here next time we are in Jogja!

Wonderful accommodation in a quiet location. They helped us with car rental including driver. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Great breakfast and menu in the restaurant. Lots of possibilities for trips in the area.

Wow this place is sooo special! Beautiful accommodation, immaculately clean, fresh scented fluffy towels/robes, feels like the owner is extremely familiar with “western comforts” whilst keeping the traditional beauty of indonesianal style. Right on the rice fields so the view is STUNNING but with air conditioning and properly sealing doors/windows so no bugs inside. Bougie lighting, big mirrors, extremely comfortable bed with nice linen. Fast stable wifi so I could work. My idea of perfect really! Food was really good, I tried the noodles and rice for breakfast and I tried the Soto Ayam and the grilled chicken for dinners all were really good. Hired the car+driver for a full day trip to Borobudur and Pramaban which was such an amazing day and really good value. All the staff were absolutely amazing, felt like a cozy little family I was soooo sad to leave. Also free juice/soft drinks and snacks was an unexpected bonus!

Very big clean and comfort rooms

The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were extremely helpful and the food was fresh and delicious. Blue Garden organised a driver for us (at an extra cost) and were great at suggesting activities that we might be interested in. We ended up seeing the sunrise, visiting temples, going to the chicken church, having a batik lesson and having a massage. All of which were fantastic. The atmosphere at Blue Garden is quiet, relaxing and friendly. We loved the chanting day and night but if that’s not your thing then there are earplug in the rooms.

Splendid villa in old Javanese style with modern comfort with a marvelous view on the surrounding ricefields.

Nice neighborhood and surroundings.

We stayed here almost a week. We continue extending our stay because we loved the homestay and the village. The village is for those who want to be on a calm part of the city and you are open to explore the local and simple life of their lovely habitants. We loved: - A different indonesian typical breakfast is served every morning. We really enjoyed trying different dishes. - The common areas are beautiful and comfortable. - The staff is friendly and always willing to help and gave us very good recommendations. - It is possible to do your laundry, the staff will take care of it. - The room has everything you need and its very comofortable, clean and pretty. - The kitchen is good equipped and very clean. - The village is incredible, it is beautiful and peaceful. The people are so friendly. There are many delicious and nice restaurants nearby, you dont need to go into the city for this. Thank you all for your effort!

We are absolutely thrilled to have chosen Tembi Rumah Budaya as our home during our visit to Yogyakarta! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly warm owners, Anto and Tina, who have poured their hearts into creating this extraordinary village. The charming Indonesian bungalows, crafted from teak and oak, are surrounded by lush Balinese-inspired gardens that create a tranquil oasis. The entire property is immaculately maintained, and the crystal-clear pool water was simply inviting. Our bungalow offered the perfect escape, with an air conditioner that kept the room refreshingly cool both day and night. Fresh towels and great food in the restaurant makes the stay even better! It’s a stay we’ll never forget!

Organic food and sustainable stuff

This stay is really exceptional perfect. Meggie is sn extreme friendly and lovely host and her staff is well trained in looking after the guests needs. Big advantage is the free car and driver for the stay, which is making all targets to reach easily.

My family and I had a great 3 nights stay at the 2 rooms villa. It’s very clean and comes with private pool. We had our breakfast at the dining area by the pool; with mixed western and Indonesia meals. We had our laundry done daily FOC. Our fridge is filled with complementary sodas daily. We had the best soto ayam for lunch before we left for airport! Meggie and her staffs were so friendly, polite and helpful with immediate response whenever we need assistance.

Love everything from the deco to the view!

Very nice accommodation, the staff is incredibly friendly and they speak very good English and even Dutch! The location is not close to the center but you can easily rent a scooter at the accommodation or use grab or Gojek!
