Very pleasant and helpful staff. Most of the famous temples are nearby and can be accessed easily. There are two cafes nearby, economical and good quality. I tried Shiva Cafe as advised by the manager there and it turned out to be really good.

Our stay from the 8th Aug - 10th Aug at Regency Kanchipuram by GRT Hotel was truly enjoyable. The staff were warm, respectful, and genuinely attentive, creating a sense of comfort and care throughout our visit. The hotel offers a peaceful, comfortable environment, ideal for both families and solo travellers. It's in a great location, close to temples and saree shopping. We dined at the restaurant and found that vegetarian options were limited, while the non-vegetarian selection was more extensive. Still, the food was tasty and the overall dining experience was pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and well-serviced stay!

The room was quite big in size. Enough table top and storing place. Very comfortable seating arrangements. I particularly liked the complementary basket full of goodies and chips, wafers, chocolates, biscuits and cakes along with tea/coffee making arrangements. I did not like their restaurant. I am a non vegetarian and their menu contained quite boring vegetation options only. Though I must say that the restaurant staff behaved well.
