This was definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. The service is excellent, all-time friendly and supportive staff. Especially Vishnu is doing an amazing customer service. The rooms are designed uniquely with love for detail and high-quality furniture. Everything was clean and tidy in the whole hotel. Whatever we needed was provided in no time. It's a short walk to the beach and there are many nice restaurants nearby. I would always come back and enjoyed the stay to the fullest.

A place excellent for relaxation. Very quiet location near the banks of Ashtamudy lake. Food was excellent and staff behaviour also very good. Overall it’s a place for comfortable stay.

Booked as a treat. It was recommended by my guide book and I wanted a hotel rather than a hostel this time. Felt luxury and is something my parents and grandparents would have felt comfortable and relaxed in. Great location so easy to direct autos and get around cheaply. Desk in room made it easy to work. Very convenient for business people. The best breakfast. AC included and laundry services (by the item) included.

It was great to be right in the city.

The ambiance was quite pleasant, and the lake offered a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was exceptionally delicious. I highly recommend trying it.

Here’s the review with a few added lines before the closing summary: We had a wonderful family stay at Leela Ashtamudi in Kollam, Kerala, earlier this month. To beat traffic, we decided to take the Vande Bharat train. The hotel had provided a station pickup, and it’s just 10 minutes away from the station. It’s located on the banks of the Ashtamudi river — a very nice location. We were warmly welcomed by their staff. It’s an old building but with modern looks and amenities, which made it a perfect stay. Rooms come with a small balcony, which added extra views during the rainy season. We had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant, and the food was delicious. I’d like to mention the staff: Ajesh, for remembering our vegan tofu and dessert Vibin, for excellent service Karthik and Liji, for housekeeping In the evening, we had a boat ride on the river. The property is calm and peaceful, perfect for unwinding with family. Overall, a fantastic stay with family.

This property is a bit luxurious, nothing we were looking for during our journey, but it was a perfect stay. Everything was clean and the staff was professional. This property has a large swimming pool.

Clean room and well behavior staffs

Everything was great! Location was very convenient and close to the railway station & local transport options. The beach is less than 2 kms away. Rooms are clean, bright and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and courteous. They also assisted me with information w.r.t local transport, when required, being especially kind enough to permit me to wait in a little beyond check-out time when the train was delayed. The restaurant on the ground floor is also excellent with their food and service. Highly recommend this Hotel to anyone travelling to Kollam.

Nice and attentive host. He was very accommodating and flexible for our needs which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The rooms were clean, air-conditioning worked, and the shower was hot. The apartment was a decent size and the location was great. It's in a quiet street less than 5mins walk to the beach and about 10mins to the station.

We liked the place because the staff was really amiable and the place turned to be pretty neat and quiet.
