I had a great experience staying at this bungalow. The architecture is stunning with a touch of traditional charm that was well preserved. The greenery outside creates a peaceful refreshing view, and the decor especially, with the amazing weather, was just unforgettable. The food was a highlight — deliciously prepared by Ashish. What made the stay even more special was the warm and heartfelt welcome from Manohar. His hospitality truly made us feel at home! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Will surely be back.

Great hostel, very close to the central market area and close to a lot of nice restaurants and cafes. The room (we stayed in the private room) was spacious cosy and clean. The thing we liked most about the hostel was the hosts. Sandup and Arien are really helpful, kind and create a homely atmosphere!

Staying at Blue bell has been the best stay for us in kalimpong. Hotel was fantastic, well equipped with required amenities, hospitality was marvelous. Specially the owner Mr. Soumya was awesome. I would Personally suggest all if you prefer calm, quite atmosphere and prefer to enjoy me time, this is the best place to stay. My family loved it. Food is extremely reasonable, on time service and very good taste.. scenic beauty is all around because of the balcony the rooms have.. entire kalimpong city view and if weather permits you get the view of kanchanjunga here... please do visit Blue bell.

Our Home Stay and our last week in India was truly a rewarding experience. Santa Gurung and his lovely family made us feel so completely at home. Our lovely room was very private and we were able to have our breakfast on a sheltered balcony overlooking the valley and the Himalayas beyond, and their family’s flower gardens, fruit trees and vegetables, which often were part of breakfast. It is one thing to tour a new country, but it is so much more meaningful when you have the experience of getting to know your hosts. We left India, having seen so many beautiful temples and other special sites, but the feeling and the knowing that we had made friends, people we hope to see again, is the most precious of all. Thank you Gurungs for sharing a bit of your life with us. We will always remember you folks with love.
