Well run, clean, everything we need. Tomas is great. Quiet, always stay in Fiesole rather than Florence. Walk to the Co-Op market, the bakery, Casa del Popolo for lunch or a drink on the terrace. Clean, nice essential kitchenette including microwave, clothes washing machine.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Elisabetta was a wonderful host who made us feel like family. The room and bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was nice to cook in. We loved sitting by the peaceful pool and enjoying wine in the garden.

I’ll Palagio Vecchio was a wonderfully relaxing retreat. It was close enough to Florence to allow for exploration of city, as well as the many Tuscan hill towns in the region. The host Maurizio, his wife and the the other B&B staff were delightful and gracious. The historic Palagio was beautifully and painstakingly restored, as well as decorated with wonderful art and furnishings. Breakfasts were always fabulous, and prepared us for a day of adventures in region or staying and relaxing on the premises.

The building is historic and beautiful. It is located on a hill. The gardens and pool area have a breath taking view of Florence. The hotel has a very relaxed air coupled with service of a very high order. The staff is very efficient , courteous and attentive. The management ensures highest standards in all services. The cuisine served in the restaurants and the selection of wines in the bar and wine cellar are exquisite. Walks in and around the property are wonderful. There are frequent shuttles to and from Piazza della Repubblica in the heart of Florence with very pleasant chauffeurs.

Absolutely fascinating location with an amazing view over Florence. There is a restaurant and a small convenience store next to the pool on site, so one can have a really nice pizza arriving late in the dark. The camping pitches are very well shaded with trees and it looks like there is sufficient space between the pitches. Mobile home was clean, cosy and equipped with everything one needs with a lovely porch. There is a shuttle to the center of the village and from there one can get public transport, so in a total of an hour one can be in the centre. Staff was super kind and helpful as we got confused on the way to Bologna thinking we are entering a ZTR zone and called them to return but they explained over the phone it is a new zone restricting old vehicles saving us a big hassle. Would certainly return if i get the chance.
