Hotels with Parking in Asso

Check in was seamless. The host communicated well and allowed us to leave our bags while we went on the Kumano Kodo day walk. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was very well laid out and spotlessly clean.

We love this villa, this is not our first time here! Everything is top notch, the cleanliness is perfect, the service is excellent! Thank you, we will come again!

Absolutely lovely place to stay, with truly spacious rooms. Incredibly helpful staff, almost foretelling guests wishes. We were treated like the most valuable guests, and that was a unique experience. Please however note, the hotel is a bit on the far side of Tanabe, so if you're not into walking, this may be an issue. It wasn't for us, as we came there for hikes and walks, so it was just great place. Also not sure if we were off season, but it looked like we were the only guests in the whole building.

We stayed in many places in Japan, but this will definitely remain the best. We will remember the friendly and kind owners for a long time. Great food, beautiful accommodation. We can highly recommend it. For us, the best place.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. The well equipped shared kitchen is spacious and offers a large fridge with freezer as well as a table for having dinner with four people. We would definitely come back. It is only a short drive to the zoo and other activities as well as shirahama beach and the beautiful coastline.

Excellent location next to seafood market and total village design is interesting.

Close to everything. Helpful staff. Great breakfast . Exceeded our expirations in every aspect. Great value for money

All is cleaned and organized, we can easily spend few days with family and/or friends. Even have an outside balcony, garden side, both levels. Rooms are on the garden side, not on street side, so it is quite to sleep well.

Very cute and comfy guesthouse. Everything you need. Authentic Japanese vibe. Everything perfect !!

Late for check in, the host keep key for us.

This was one of my best experiences at an onsen hotel in Japan during my 10+ years of travel. The staff were exceptional—responsive, welcoming, and able to communicate easily. Parking is right next to the hotel. Guests can enjoy the onsen facilities within the hotel and the nearby 長生湯, just a two-minute walk away. Both onsens are clean with 長生湯 offering a stunning view of the starry sky at night. There's also a restaurant nearby for supper which is convenient. Our room was spacious. We booked a 4-person room for just the two of us but the space is more than enough for 6 adults I would say! If I'm travelling with my family, I'm sure they would be super happy with the room. The food was delicious and satisfying, especially the house plum wine, which is a must-try! Overall speaking, excellent stay and great value for money!

The onsen and food was excellent Staff were very helpful and friendly Massage was excellent

Location, clean, practical, coffee shop downstairs

Apartment style room with kitchenette, laundry and full bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The area was quiet and a short walk to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was exceptionally good, looking at the Shirarahama beach with a stunning view. Though the onsen is small and indoor with no outdoor onsen area, it is clean and quiet. We particularly like the breakfast, lots of food choices and very nice staff. The hotel is close to the Shirarahama beach, which is very nice. We had an enjoyable stay.

It’s my second time here and I’ll be definitely back again. Open air hot spring is amazing, breakfast buffet - something worth waking up for. I booked a wrong room because i didn’t look much, just wanted it to be this hotel - very kind staff changed my room to another one. I also forgot my jacket, but already got back to Osaka where I live - they said that they will send it to me via post! Last but not least, Tanabe is a magical place - beautiful nature and beautiful ocean, while still remaining not crowded with tourists. Will be back soon!!!!
