The staffs are polite and friendly. Location is walking distance to Ropeway and Lake Kamaguchi is right in front. Room is spacious for family of 4 and clean. It has big and clean Onsen facility. Our room has Mt Fuji view.

We had a wonderful view of Mount Fuji from our balcony! It was awesome to wake up to. The room was very spacious for two people. We were able to easily open our two suitcases without stepping over one another. We loved the yukatas that were provided for us. It was fun to dress up and they were very comfortable. You could even wear them around the hotel, including dinner. As for dinner, we opted to dine in at the hotel on both nights we were there, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Don't forget to make reservations. We ordered the grilled beef and tempura. Definitely get the Mount Fuji float drink! The food service was impeccable, as well as the front desk staff. Always so polite and helpful! There's a shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearby station and vice versa - a really short jaunt. Very convenient service! There was also laundry service that we used. Be prepared to have coins with you. We brought our own laundry sheets, but you could also purchase detergent on the premise. On the premise, you'll also find vending machines and a charming souvenir shop. Around the hotel, there are restaurants, jogging paths, and nature trails that you can explore. There's even a nearby supermarket and shopping center with a great view of Mount Fuji! Overall, we had an excellent 2-night stay and would whole heartedly recommend Hotel Regina Kawaguchiko!

Gorgeous Mt. Fuji view, great onsen, great location

Our one-night stay at 遊び庭-富士 was truly excellent. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and gave us the authentic Japanese atmosphere we were looking for. It’s a single-story home, which was ideal for our group, especially with elderly guests—everything was easily accessible and thoughtfully arranged. The beds were very comfortable, and the space was well-equipped, especially with toiletries and cooking utensils—everything we needed was already prepared. The location was quiet yet convenient, making it easy to explore and relax. We were also very impressed by the staff’s responsiveness—they were helpful, kind, and quick to reply whenever we had questions. Their support made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, well-prepared stay with genuine Japanese charm.

Helpful host. The unit was quite new, and it blew our expectation. Big apartment, spacious, and comfortable. Two storeys, with dining room / living room at the ground floor. Clean with everything you need. Well insulated unit during cold winter.

Fantastic location. The family room was superb if you have kids as they will love the camping atmosphere. Everything was exceptionally clean and the amenities provided were top notch. The shared washrooms and shower areas are kept very well and all amenities are kept too.

The staff was super helpful we went on a wrong branch of HAOSTAY in kawaguchiko but the staff their drop us off in their hotel private taxi on her own highly recommended

Spacious and have sauna area. Fit for 1 person, 2 might okay if partnered. 2room upstairs with tatami only. Living room is big and got kitchen with big japanese table. Toilet and shower room is separate at Ground level with the kitchen and living hall.

The place is so big and beautiful.

All amenities were good! The sauna, massage chair, the tatami room!
