Great location and view. Within close walking distance to the funayas. Apartment was well designed, equipped and comfortable. The lady who met us was very friendly and helpful, assisting us with dinner booking and having breakfast delivered to us next morning .

Amazing location, stunning views, spacious and incredibly comfortable. Staying in this authentic funaya — a traditional fisherman’s house in Kameshima at the very end of Ine village — was a truly special experience. The house is exceptionally spacious by Japanese standards, beautifully equipped with everything needed for a very comfortable stay, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The view over the bay is absolutely breathtaking. What makes this place even more unique is the location. It’s close enough to the center of Ine for restaurants and sightseeing, but far away from the tourist crowds. This part of the village feels completely authentic, surrounded by real fishermen’s houses and local life, with almost no day tourists reaching the area. A perfect place to experience the quieter, more genuine side of Ine. Best explored with a car.

The owners of Guri are a very friendly architect and chef couple who decided to leave the big city to lead a more satisfying life with their young family in this charming boathouse village. We felt very much at home, downstairs is a small cozy cafe and upstairs just one room. A lot of attention to details shows deep commitment to hospitality. The breakfast not only looked very healthy, it was tasty and generous, topped by homemade blue berry and strawberry jam!

Okazaki-san is a fantastic and hilarious host. The accommodation is roomy and exceptionally comfortable. The area around Ine-Ohara is one of the most beautiful parts of Japan! Highly recommended.

I love everything about this property. It provides ample space for families and maintained very well and clean. Bed and linens are very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. The highlight of the house is how advanced technology is in domestic houses. The smart AI operated aircon, to the dryer room which is also the shower room. It dries ur clothes without having to tumble dry which can ruin your clothes overtime. Overall, I find the house very impressive installed with modern technology and will highly recommend this place to anyone!

Lovely cabin tucked away from the city hustle. The drive up was incredibly scenic, with views of the mountains and the valleys. Mr. Kawamura and his daughter, Chiyoko were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food prepared was delicious, made with fresh local ingredients and served with generous portions. The firewood bath was a great way to unwind after day of walking and exploring.
