We stayed for two nights to explore the local area. It was very comfortable and spacious with a modern design. Great view out over the bay towards the sunset, including from the bath. Breakfast and dinner at the associated restaurant excellent. Recommend walk along seafront to Shiroyama Park and beyond and fresh local seafood lunch at Umikara.

I was traveling for work and was so grateful to have found this hotel! There is wifi across the hotel, great little working desk in the room and also a nice onsen to relax in after a long day. It definitely perhaps catered to more salarymen, as a woman I appreciated some of the precautions they took to make women feel comfortable like having a key lock on the women's onsen door. The breakfast buffet was also delicious but there is also a family mart next door which is very convenient.

Truly amazing house in a newly renovated traditional house in the middle of a small village deep in the countryside. Every thing is brand new and top-notch, including a sauna, outside bath and indoor bath. The beddings were super soft and the host gave us detailed information when we arrived. Quite close to the traditional kayabuki no Sato village by car.

Absolutely amazing - EVERYTHING! The host was extremely friendly, spoke well English and explained a lot about the place and the concept as well as giving local recommendations. She even came down in the morning to bring and cook breakfast for us. The way they renovated those old houses so properly, making it modern but keeping the old features and structures intact is just beautiful. Apart from that the location was comfortable and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax and wind down.
