The resort and hospitality were outstanding! We enjoyed our apartment a lot - it was very clean, has a lot of space and a gorgeous view! The barbecue organised by Tomo in our garden was very nice and delicious as well. Just nearby there are also beautiful beaches.

I enjoyed staying at Shigira, the service was great, the room condition was perfect. All the staffs were so kind, especially the English staff(so sorry that I forgot the name) helped us book dinners for the whole stay and upgrade our room to ocean view. The owner is truly special. You must try their cooking and go snorkeling with them! I loved the family-like atmosphere in the shared tatami room, the mosaic-bazin with the bird-taps, the tiny decorations and memories everywhere. It was awesome and very convenient renting the owner's motorbike, and ride around Miyakojima with it! You can see the stars as there is no light pollution on the island! And the sunset is also beautiful from a hotel nearby.
