It was a beautifully located and wonderfully preserved old Lebanese home where we slept in the beautiful architecture of an old home's cellar. The place was perfectly maintained and we felt like we were frozen in time! My parents and I were craving a retreat from Beirut, and this exceeded our expectations. Michelle welcomed us and showed us around his ancestors' home. We were so thrilled with the architecture and location, and his recommendation for dinner was exceptional. My husband and I recently spent a wonderful evening at Beit El Rahi, and it was one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredible owner, Georges, whose kindness and generosity made us feel right at home. We also had the pleasure of meeting Yoci, his lovely dog, who added even more warmth to the experience. The place itself is simply beautiful. It captures the authenticity of Lebanon perfectly, with breathtaking scenery, a peaceful atmosphere, and exceptional attention to detail. Everything is lovingly maintained, creating a space that feels both genuine and magical. What made our visit even more memorable was a heartwarming surprise: that very evening, Georges adopted two adorable kittens. To my delight, he gave me the honor of naming them. I chose Ka7loun and Zayyoun—a small tribute to our Lebanese heritage and, of course, a nod to the beloved songs of Fairuz that instantly come to mind when you think of authentic Lebanese vibes. Beit El Rahi is much more than a destination; it's an experience filled with warmth, generosity, and love for Lebanon. We left with beautiful memories, new furry friends, and every intention of returning.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the property. Tranquility and peacefulness are the real charms of this place.

An exceptional stay! My fiancée and I are so glad we chose to stay at Arawan, the owners are super friendly, welcoming and generous! They offered us water and soft drinks upon arrival, and the room was fully equipped with towels, toothbrush kit, slippers…. Highly recommended will definitely come back!
