It was very near everything our tour to swim with the turtles was cancelled the host said to go to the beach anyway we rented gear and swam. With the turtles breakfast was great host excellent definitely would recommend she is very knowledgeable in the area

Booked the hotel for 18 nights and it was great stay/ great decision! Eranga and his team are super friendly and kind. They are all super helpful, Eranga helped me book tours for safaris and pick up and transfer to the airport. Not only that as tours are super early they make sure to prepare for me a really nice breakfast to take while I was in the tour. The views from the hotel are amazing, I recommend going upstairs to the rooftop. One thing to consider is that the beach from the hotel it’s rocky so you’ll need special shoes to get in, but you can walk in the beach and it’s quite nice. Also in the mornings you can see local people fishing traditionally. Location is amazing, the only sound you hear is the waves or the peacocks once in a while. You have Mirissa beach, coconut hill, parrot rock 100 mts walk. Breakfast everyday was amazing, you can choose many options of breakfast between western and Sri Lankan! Chicken curry was one of my favorites or omelette with cheese or Sri Lankan and waffles :) Honestly each day kept getting better and better, and since the staff knew what I like they sometimes had details with me like an extra waffle a bigger pot of coffee. Really appreciated it :) Also, if you are hungry evening or night they have a huge menu to cook for you dinner/ lunch. About room cleaning, its not done everyday as a rule in the hotel if you are staying more than one night but if you ask for it the team will be more than happy to clean the room for you and change towels. But overall the hotel and rooms are super clean all the time. It’s true that the bathroom some times smells like humidity but it’s not continuous and it’s not annoying or awful as I saw people added in their comments.
