We booked for a family of 4 and had one of the buildings to ourselves. Vita and Helga who are the best hosts ever live in the central building. We stayed in Feb so was covered in snow. At the ranch they have plenty of snow shoes, overalls etc. even in kids sizes. There are even sledges you can use for the very quiet mountain roads. You will need a 4x4 if winter time. You get access to the hot tub, if other guests there it can easily be sorted out so you have private use of it. A new sauna has been built for an extra charge but it is well worth it. Just give them notice so they can heat it. Vita came along and gave us a foot bath and also face masks. She popped round most mornings with little treats for us all, but you also get your own family time. This is typical of Vita who goes a step beyond. We only booked one evening meal with her, 3 courses and all delicious. When she sends you directions, use her directions exactly. Do not use google maps alone. The road Google maps takes you is on what they call a tractor road and people can get stuck there for quite some time.

The location was perfect although there is a problem if the bar across the street decides to have a late night. Altough we were on the 2nd floor facing we could hear the music. There are no lifts so doesnt seem accessable to those with wc. VERY WELL equip and modern although 1. a few more bits in kitchen would be ideal for long term visitors and 2. it would have been nice to have a directory on how to operate the cooker (could not switch on) and control panels. Bathroom, shower and bed were great (Ritual toiletries are a great touch). I am giving it full marks because i think the areas pointed out are just oversights and not systemic breakdowns. I am definately booking to stay again!!!

The location was brilliant, closely located to the town centre and stunning views of the lake. The massage chair was a great way to unwind and relax after a day of swimming and saunas. The kitchen and BBQ had everything you needed, including a dishwasher. The Host was very friendly and great to chat with, he offered good advice of where to eat and how to use appliances around the house. Overall a fantastic stay.

Great location,excellent breakfast and friendly customer service.Spa was small,but water was warm and environment was clean.Very wonderful for families.
