The location, the view and scenery as well as the staff were formidable. Also chose the 3 course dinner at the hotel with wine pairing and it was very good and convenient.

This small hotel is a true gem, we loved it! This is a historic building which has been beatifully renovated. There are only 5 rooms and 2,5 bathrooms so even though there are no private bathrooms it is still comfortable. Bathrooms are beatiful and spotlessly clean. Very cozy atmosphere all over the house, lots of common areas to rest or to chat with others. Huge terrass overlooking the fjord and the lake. Our bedroom (double room) was comfortable too with a great view to the fjord. Owners are very kind and helpful, thank you Amelie and Mara!

Villa Solvorn is a cozy bed and breakfast. The entire home, inside and out were decorated with love. Oscar and his wife are kind and considerate owners . Vanessa was a wonderful host , always greeting us with a smile. Our large first floor room was beautiful with a private entrance. We felt like it was our little "home" .

Dating back to 1640, this 9th generation family-run hotel is Norway’s oldest. The hotel is surrounded by a romantic garden in the beautiful village of Solvorn.

My husband and I found the Walaker (and the village of Solvorn) to be a really special place. We had perfect weather for swimming at the beach, hiking up Molden for fjord views, and enjoying a glass of champagne in the hotel garden. Staff and food were excellent. The historic room had tons of charm. We only stayed one night but I could see spending a week to enjoy daily hikes, afternoon swims, and relaxing with a good book -- it's such a lovely, restful place!

A recently renovated apartment, Skjolden Resort offers accommodation in Skjolden. The apartment, set in a building dating back to 2007, offers free Wifi and free private parking.

It was the cutest cabin. Surprisingly spacious inside. The bathrooms with showers in the barn were large and warm. Beautiful location.
