Big House by the sea, Ballstad Lofoten
The place is perfectly located to reach all southern Lofoten in less than 1.5 hours, and therefore serves as a wonderful base for several days. It is very spacious, quiet, with exceptional views, near a very good supermarket (5 minutes by car) and restaurants (10 min). The hosts were very friendly and cooperative. All the facilities met our expectations and beyond.

The Lofotens are a fantastic area, and this was a fantastic area within the Lofotens. The property was very thoughtfully supplied and laid out - a sauna, fire pit, and extras like walking sticks, yoga mats, everything we needed (more or less) of kitchen utensils and equipment, and spectacular views from the entire living area.
The Villa is pretty new and well furnished. Spacious living room and dinner room with wide glass window, may enjoy aurora inside. If not afair of cold, front yard also good for photo shooting too.
It was our best stay in Lofoten, I highly recommend it
We stayed under Christmas time, when all restaurants and supermarkets were closed or worked reduced times. Also for a couple of days we were particularly unlucky with the weather (strong wind, hail), so we got to spend much time inside the house. It was indeed a lovely time, we felt at home (a modern, high-tech, well designed home!). We enjoyed very much cooking in the well-equipped kitchen (the dishwasher was a game changer) and we used the washing machine and drier to wash some clothes so consider that when you pack! The living room is also lovely, we put on some music using the smart tv and relaxed on the super comfy sofa. The view from the windows is the best, one would never get tired of looking outside. If you have a car, you will have your own park just outside the next building. In the Ballstad area there are plenty of good spots (approx a 20 minutes drive) to catch northern lights. Our favs were Uttakleiv / Haukland / Vik beaches.

Brand new, clean, and perfect view.. At nights able to see auroras… Is like a poster and the view is amazing. Recommend this place.
