We LOVED everything! The location was a 5 min walk from the center of town, and 10/15 mins to Hurtigruten port, whilst being in a lovely quiet residential street. The whole of the top floor is yours - bathroom (great shower, deep bath, loo and sink), bedroom (double with a super-comfy mattress and window that opened to the Aurora, little table and comfy chairs), plus a small area with fridge, kettle, cups, glasses etc AND a coffee machine and microwave in a little kitchen area. Warm, cosy, private and comfortable But the BEST thing about the place was Tommy, the owner. He is such a kind, gentle, helpful and interesting man. He was kind enough to pick us up from the airport as our plane landed too late for public transport, he gave us a tour of the area and the border, and his daughter-in-law dropped us to the Hurtigruten port. All for nothing but sharing the love of their home town and hospitality. Absolutely one of the best places we have stayed in.

Location was good, surrounding was beautiful and calm, breakfast was nice, dinner not much choice (set menu). if allowed check out at 12noon instead of 11am would be better.

Wood-fired sauna is the best. The house on the inside and outside is nicely designed and feels cozy. Two supermarkets and a bus station are 5 min away. Kitchen has everything for cooking: the utensils, stove with oven, kettle, fridge, etc. The owner Synne is very nice, always willing to help with the stay and make it even more comfortable. 10/10

Very nice and well-equipped apartment We felt very comfortable in the apartment – it was modern, clean, and extremely well-equipped. Everything was just right, and we didn’t miss a thing. The location isn’t the most scenic, as the apartment is situated in a harbor area. But we were aware of that beforehand, and considering the fair price, it was absolutely fine for us. During the week, it can get a bit noisy due to nearby work activities, so light sleepers should keep that in mind. Still, it’s a really great apartment with a high-quality feel. We’d definitely book it again!
