We had a very good stay at Tyssedal Hotel and would rate it 9 out of 10. The hotel is very conveniently located, especially if you are planning to hike Trolltunga, as it is just a few minutes from the shuttle stop. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We also enjoyed the breakfasts, which offered a good variety of fresh and tasty food. After a long and challenging day on the trail, the jacuzzi was absolutely wonderful and exactly what we needed to relax. We also had excellent dinners at the hotel and discovered a delicious local cider, which became one of the highlights of our stay. The room itself was quite small and a bit dated, but this was not a major issue for us. The only real downside was the constant humming noise from outside, possibly from the nearby power station or industrial area, which made the room less quiet than we had expected. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel, especially for anyone planning to hike Trolltunga.
