This is not an upmarket place, but it's a great central location with parking, the rooms are large and comfortable with views over the sea. There are shift workers staying there, which means that breakfast is 24/7. There is a well-equipped kitchen where you just help yourself at any time. So you can make sandwiches to eat later. This is much better than the conventional hotel buffet breakfast. I really recommend this place

Located by Sandsfjorden in the coastal town of Sand, Ryfylke Fjordhotell offers free WiFi internet access and free private parking.

This is a comfortable basement in a family home. The room contains a giant Samsung TV which connected to my Samsung phone so I could watch Apple TV. The bed was a comfortable sofa bed. The hosts were what merit a 5 star. My motorcycle was put in their garage. Their tumble drier was offered for my soaking wet motorcycle kit. I booked in horrible west of Norway rain on my phone. The date was wrong as my touch screen was battered by rain. No problem to swap the date. I was offered posh coffee from the main house. The Polish owners speak good English. Jarek speaks better English than he gives himself credit for. A 10 minute walk from a good size supermarket. Close to the town centre but a quiet area. No kitchen but coffee making stuff present.

Set in Sauda and only 1.4 km from Åbøbyen Arbeiderstrøk, “ Mandala” place for 2 offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.
