Really an excellent place, great value, friendly and helpful staff, the hostel is located right in the middle of Tamel, wich is the touristic neighborhood of Katmadu, there's a lot of people and stuff going on outside of the hostel, still the place manages to have a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, the restaurant is also really good with high quality options, the guys working at the restaurant are exceptional, I'll come back for sure after my trek

The Chef House Resort is an exceptional place in Kathmandu! We enjoyed the spacious room, the hot shower which worked flawlessly all the time, the high-quality food, including lunch/dinner and the continental breakfast which was included in our booking. The location is great for visiting the big Stupa and the famous Hindu temple. Just on the other side of the road there is a new and modern supermarket, very convenient. The airport is also not far away (20minutes with a taxi for ~4€). We can highly recommend this little oasis in Kathmandu which allows you to relax from the sometimes chaotic, dusty and loud city 😊

Hotel is situated 10 minute walk from airport. Other way we walked, other way used free transport. Hotel organized a city tour as well. This was lovely. Plus as we left early, we could have our breakfast as we arrived. Certainly we will return

The location is good if you need a room around the airport. It’s a quiet place with lots of greenery, and the hotel’s aesthetic was good. They had a hairdryer in the washroom and provided enough shampoo and shower gel.

My son stayed at the hotel for one night before his flight back to Europe. He was really happy with the hotel and had this to say: The food was amazing. Each dish was well presented and exceptionally well tasting. After a long travel, he was happy to order the buffalo wings, which were spicy and had a good crispiness. He was given gloves for the meal. For dessert, he had strawberry ice cream, which was served with fresh fruit. The hotel's location within the airport is unbeatable.
