This was a really cute place to stay. It is run by a family who are great at communication and have their own boat to pick you up and take you to town. They were extremely friendly and made sure they all came to pick us up and to drop us off. They also offer dinner that is affordable and they bring it to your room. They offer a tour that takes you to one of the islands on Uros where they show you how the islands are made and have hand made crafts you can purchase. There was no WiFi when we went, BUT there was cell service so we’re able to use our phones and even download a movie on Netflix. Overall it was a great experience!

Incredible people that would organize so much for you. Very good food, transportation and they also arranged for us to join an island tour. The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

Great location! Beautiful, friendly and very helpful host family. They prepared for us fantastic dinner and breakfast. We experienced an incredible view of the sunset over the lake, followed by the sunrise the next morning. A beautiful place and lovely people living there.

It was my dream to live on the floating islands of Lake Titicaca. Walter and his family's lodge is one of the best places to live comfortably and observe the real life of the Uros people. I was worried that it would be cold. but the living conditions pleasantly surprised me - hot water, a large bed with duvets, huge windows through which the sun heats the room during the day and gas heaters for the evening. Walter's mother cooked delicious, fresh and healthy food for us. Walter took us on a boat ride every day and helped organize all the excursions. To work online, we needed the Internet, and in this part of the lake the mobile signal is strong enough to work. Because on the islands that are farther from the coast, the Internet connection is weak. Great experience!

The location was amazing. The hosts were exceptionally kind, helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious. Our room provided an amazing view. The tour around the lake organized by the host was very educational and interesting. We met local people and learned a few words on their language. The hosts answered all our requests. Everything was fabulous.

It was amazing, the food, the room, the tour around the Uros, Cesar and his family are amazing. I recommend it 100%, such a good experience. They helped us to organize a tour to Taquile for the next day, and it was super nice. They told us if we wanted to use the canoe for free, however we didnt use it, and we relaxed at the cabin for the evenning.

It was the BEST night we spent in our one-month stay in Peru. Was expecting something basic, afterall it’s on a floating island and the price is so cheap. When we arrived, everything was perfect. The room was so nice, with a giant and super comfortable bed, super nice view of the lake, the room also comes with a cute balcony where we hung out most of the time during the day. Meals were served to our room, shower came with hot water, love every bit about the stay here that we wished we had booked for one more night.
