Excelent location. Very calm and pleasant. If you'd like to relax some days, I'd suggest coming here. The views from each room are splendid. The breakfast was really nice.

I came here for my final visa appointment for my immigration and decided to stay somewhere that looked nice so that I would be comfortable and stress free. WOWWW I was so surprised!! This is a true Palace - not just the name of the accommodation. The staff was so kind (especially Miguel who checked me in and gave me an excellent tour after my 8,5 hr bus ride from Lagos). This is definitely a luxury stay which far exceeded my expectations given the more affordable pricing. It feels uniquely cozy and extravagant at the same time. Each guest gets access to the grounds, spa, pool, and self-serve bar. I highly recommend if you're looking for a nice stop on a road trip or a luxury stay at a reasonable price point. I didn't have a car, but I would recommend renting one if you spend a few days here to explore the surrounding areas and hikes. I took a lot of pictures and shared this experience on my social media pages @RoamAwayFromHome_ on Instagram and a YouTube soon at Roam Away From Home if you want to see. :) I was honestly so impressed with the staff and grounds that I decided to document my experience (originally, I wanted to keep it private because I was there for immigration stuff but ended up being just too happy not to share).

What a fantastic place - it was literally out of this world! We had a beautiful big (35-40 m2) room filled with gorgeous antique furniture. The owner’s son was a wonderful host, he went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. He made us a delicious breakfast consisting of specialities from Alentejo as well as his mum’s yummy homemade cake and jams. We had the whole house to ourselves - room after room filled with beautiful and rare antiques from Asia, we have never seen anything like it. This is an absolute GEM - amd we feel humbled and honoured to have been able to spend a few hours in this beautiful location😊 Obrigada.

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful, quit location (bit out of the way, but we actually loved that). All the staff was lovely, really friendly and helpful. We did the summer wine tasting which we cannot recommend more! Also great breakfast. We just loved our stay!
