It was a wonderful visit to Casas de Faia. The location and setting and the quality of the accommodation is amazing. Duarte and his family were incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. There is a beautiful pool to cool off in the heat and you are surrounded by wildlife on the farm and greeted by two lovely dogs. Breakfast was lovely and a really well arranged. A superb stay. Boutique hotel with personal service. Breakfast was served, fantastic, no buffet. Staff was very attentive. Our airconditioning failed with was notable at the reception, directly the staff knocked out our door to fix it. Quality bedding and clean. Nice rooms. All rooms have special names with dedicated sweet referred to the room type. 15 minutes walk time downtown.

This was a fantastic experience since the moment we check-in. The staff is very friendly, the room we stayed was absolutely fabulous and very integrated with the region along the comfort. We had dinner at the restaurant during our stay and every time was an excellent experience. The food and the wines are very good. The pool and the bar is also very pleasant. WE were able to order our snacks in advance and at the time they were ready they invite us for the table. For sure we will return.
