Awesome find. Nico was the perfect host. The room was spotless and so comfortable. The pool was superb and the 3 sided balcony/terrace meant we could watch the sun rise and set. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Casas dos Carregais! Olga and Rui, and their Son Riccardo, welcomed us like we were long lost friends. The cottage is very lovely and has everything you could need. Fresh bread was brought to us daily, fresh fruit, cheese and meat for our breakfast. The views from the cottage are stunning and early one morning, I glanced out of the window and there were clouds around the rooftops. It was magical! Olga and Rui invited us to join them for evening coffee at the community hall with the locals. We enjoyed this so much. Everyone was so welcoming and they are all very friendly people. We will miss our evening chats. We highly recommend Casas dos Carregais. We stayed there for 4 nights and were sad to leave. Book your stay there and you won’t be disappointed! We’ll definitely stay in touch with Olga and Rui. Friends for life.

An extremely high quality renovation of an old village house. Lovely and warm on a chilly day. Ana was very flexible allowing us to check in a bit early and check out late. The hot tub was fun. The walled garden is small but perfect. The huge terrace with fabulous view. The walks from the front door. Ana’s friendliness and advice at check-in.

If you are looking for a chaotic place or a tourist village, don't come here, but if you are looking for a place to reconnect with nature and your primordial memories, then you are in the right place. We have had the opportunity to meet people like Barbara with intense stories to share, made up of moments of lives lived and who, together with her family, have tried to make us part of their splendid journey called life. An intense place equipped with all the necessary comforts where we were truly able to find ourselves and spend precious time together with our family. Thank you for everything and for this unique and intense experience.

This little house is amazing, Joao could not have done more, he was extremely welcoming and friendly. All the facilities are really good and exceptional quality. Having the fire lit for us was a lovely touch.

The Hotel was lovely and the views were beautiful. The Managers, Isabella and Lucus were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. We will definitely visit again. I suppose the only thing I would change is maybe to have tea/coffee facilities in the room, but I don't think that this is a thing in Europe so no problem with this.

Local limpo aconchegante e excelente pra ir em família. Estrutura bem planejada onde nos trouxe dias deslumbrantes. O local desfrutava até de lava loiça com condições de utilização. Os arredores da casa tens um local super silencioso, também fomos surpreendidos ao chegar no local e desfrutarmos de uma vaga exclusiva pra estacionamento com direito a carregamento de carros elétricos. Amamos tudo e voltaríamos mais vezes ao local com toda certeza, suuuper recomendado.
