What a marvellous place - full of history, culture and good taste. What a surprise, once you go through that door.

The accommodation was immaculate , the pool was amazing . Pedro is a very kind genuine person who went out of his way to make sure we were enjoying our stay . He was also very generous in supplying us with some refreshments . Even thou we didn’t speak Portuguese Pedro s son and his staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome .

It seems to be in a friend’s house. We had a really beautiful stay. Super good vibes!! I loved it!

Staff were amazing. Even after I checked out they said I could stay in thr pool and in the area all day.

We loved our stay at this place! It’s perfect for families, with plenty of things for kids to play with and enjoy. The space is big and comfortable — we were able to park one car inside the property and another right in front of the door without any problem. The village where the house is located is very calm and peaceful, which made our stay even more relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and kind, always attentive and very nice with us. We highly recommend it, especially for those traveling with children.

We really enjoyed our stay. From the kindness of the our hosts to the cleanliness of our room, from the comfort of our room and bed, to the relaxing atmosphere. The fact that the property has a very big focus on sustainability is also a strong plus, which is taken seriously by the management. The photos and amenities from the post are exactly what you found there.

Amazing surroundings. Really friendly people on the resort. Just a beautifull paradise between the olive trees. Great rooms and setting. Really relaxing.

Great staff, location and rooms

A farm turned into a hotel in the countryside. Spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast served in an abundant variety. Wonderful hosts, who do everything to make your stay the best experience ever. We arrived on the day of the black out and hosts did everything to help us in spite of lack of electricity. They provided candles and offered to serve us wine. There is an educational farm on the premises and the hosts are proud to show their collection of beautiful oldtimer cars. There is even a laundry service. After spending three nights at Monte Chalasa we felt we have great friends in Alentejo. We'd love to come back or even organize a family gathering. If you are looking for a peace and quiet with all the comfort, yet in the middle of nowhere, this is THE PLACE.
