Hotels with Parking in Flamengos

The room is located on the edge of a big fancy hotel and you look over the gardens of the hotel and the sea in the back. Very nice views and a big balcony! :)

I stayed in the dorm. Very good facilities inside the dorm. Air con, locker, reading area, sofa and a view! I have stayed in the mountain huts in the Alps and other countries. This is a luxurious, upgraded version. Even better than the well-managed youth hostels in Switzerland!

I stayed in March shortly after the storm and I really appreciated being upgraded to a very comfortable lodge which was spacious and well appointed. Nice to have a sauna onsite and indoor heated pool. There’s a high quality restaurant on site and a riding stables. The accommodation, restaurant and stables are run as three separate businesses. I dined at the restaurant one night (note it’s closed on Sunday evenings and there aren’t many options nearby, but you can cook in the well equipped lodges, if you wish). The food was really good, I had fish soup and the fish of the day, which was seared tuna. The tuna was cooked perfectly, however I’m not sure why the sauce was taken from the same ingredients as the soup as they were too similar and very rich. If I’d known in advance I would have chosen an alternative dish. It was unfortunate I didn’t go riding as this was my main reason for staying here, however it was too windy when I arrived it wouldn’t have been enjoyable and I was unable to book online for my final day as I had poor reception (I was off site) and the stables were booked up on my final day, but I met experienced riders who said the they had been on really good trail rides. I advise to pre-book.

The view was awesome. The house felt like home. Check in would have been easy had I read my messages but we contacted Ellen, who was very helpful. The property is up a very steep windy road but that is worth the drive when you see the view. We were in The Azores for two weeks in various properties but this was our favourite as we felt it was in the style we would have at home. The view of Pico couldn’t be matched. We only stayed three nights but would have like to stay longer.

.A fabulous oldy world quinta. Room furniture was original wood. All very comfortable. The owners were always on hand to help with any queries/arranging taxis etc. Beautiful gardens with view of Pico swimming pool, sauna, pool 🎱 table

The pool idea with the small greenhouse is amazing, from beeing able to swim at later times when it was cold outside but very warm inside, the room for 3 persons was extremely spacious, super simple and good decoration, the bed were very confortable, and the staff was always extremely helpful, probably and by far without any doubt the best booking place I stayed, in like 6 years, really recommend it, from someone who travels around the world and is used to 5 star hotel quality of life.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is spacious and very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, coffee, and we really appreciated the welcome goodies from the host. Everything was super comfortable. Extra touches like mosquito protection were a thoughtful addition.

We stayed in this newly renovated house and absolutely loved it! Everything is spotlessly clean, fresh, and thoughtfully arranged. The host was very welcoming — he greeted us personally, showed us around, and explained how everything works. The house has a lovely garden where you can relax or hang your laundry. There’s also a small shed where bicycles are stored — perfect if you’re planning to explore the island on two wheels. Inside, the kitchen is very well-equipped, with all the necessary cookware and tableware. The bedrooms are comfortable, with cozy pillows and beds. There are plenty of shelves and wardrobes in each room, as well as convenient bedside tables with drawers. Everything is set up for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is clean and modern, with a good shower and toilet in one unit. There are blinds on the windows that allow you to fully darken the rooms at night. A nice touch! There is also a washing machine with detergent provided — extremely useful after a long day of hiking. While there is no dishwasher, we didn’t mind washing dishes by hand. A drying rack for dishes is available. Other thoughtful amenities include a hairdryer (actually two types), shower gel, and a great outdoor space with a table and a large umbrella that provides shade. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy a meal or just relax.
