The Curral D Avó is a beautiful boutique style hotel with a long history and.is set in a beautiful village location. It is a combination of traditional and modern. The room was large and spacious with very comfy beds and a brilliant shower. Maria, the owner could not have done more for us. This is a truly great place to stay and I would definitely stay again. Very highly recommended

The hosts at this property are the kindest people you could ever meet. We were driving from the UK with our 2 German shepherds and due to arrive at 11am. They allowed us to check into our room early at no extra cost. We had the ground floor room due to an ageing dog and it was super clean. Breakfast the next day was such great value and overall the stay was so cheap. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay. Wished we could have spent longer

In a quiet settlement, an old house that has been very carefully renovated. Clean, fully equipped kitchen. The hostess is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is very plentiful, fresh warm bread every morning. Nearby is a fantastic vantage point for the valley of the Douro River.
