The couple who manages the place is very hospitable. You will have a very warm welcome, and they will make sure that you have the best stay according to your needs. The fact that the house is so beautiful and the views are speechless make it a perfect place.

Beautiful location, stunning views and a very comfortable house. The perfect place to disconnect, relax and enjoy nature. The host was also incredibly helpful and made everything easy from start to finish.

I was warmly welcomed by the host, Nathalie, who was super available throughout my stay and provided great information about Riba de Mouro and the surrounding areas. The house is very nice and quiet, ideal for those who wish to escape the stressful city life. The bedrooms and bathroom have heating and the fully equipped kitchen/living room has a lovely chimney. Wifi was working very well throughout my stay and I was also able to use the washing machine.

Casa da Veiga was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Beautifully decorated with old time charm, but with a modern and well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, we felt right at home. The location is fairly isolated but that’s one of its charms. Waking up to the sound of the birds & the cockerels and seeing the old ladies dressed in traditional black are experiences you’ll love to share with your friends and family back home. The village is quiet but if you need a restaurant there’s a great selection 30 minutes drive away in Monção. Breakfast was included which was the typical mix of pastries, fruit, coffee, cheese and ham. There are also oranges from the garden that you can pick and squeeze for fresh orange juice. The memorable moment, though, was having breakfast by the pool. 25° at 9am and there we were swimming and relaxing over a tray of breakfast goodies. We loved Casa de Veija and we know you will too!

Selfservice breakfast was very good; free usage of the kitchen and the meal area a plus; beautiful location although a bit remote. An extra bed for the kid without even asking for it was a nice gesture. The guesthouse itself was amazingly refurbished recently. And the host is great!
