We had a wonderful stay at Pensiune Meridian and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and quality service. The location is excellent —close to Transfagarasan road and everything you might need for a relaxing vacation. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to the reception administrators Marius and Vali, who were always helpful, professional, and made check-in and any requests smooth and pleasant. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean — both the common areas and the rooms are very well maintained, which really added to the overall comfort of the stay. The breakfasts were delicious, with a nice variety to choose from. The restaurant menu was also impressive — every dish we tried was full of flavor and generously portioned. You can really tell that quality and care go into the food here. Overall, a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The place is really nice and quiet. Good view from the room. Free parking and playground for children. Good service.

Equipped with everything one needs for a layover with/without kids. Impressive front yard with basketball, ping-pong, etc., River access just a few steps away. Easy communication with owner, over WhatsApp.

Cosmin and his family run an amazing place. It Is a perfect stop on the Transfagarasan. Cosmin cooked dinner and breakfast for us, using local products. I highly recommend stopping by!

Perfect located right on the Transfagarasan. There are secured parking for motorcycles behind gate. It seems popular with motorcycle travelers doing the Transfagarasan. My room had a small balcony perfect for a afternoon beer after all the riding. Cold beers can purchased cheap across the street in a shop. There is a cafe 50 m away, which do simply hot meals.

It was an interesting experience to stay in Romanian house with some authentic details. We had the whole house in our disposition, with two bedrooms, a living room and two bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. You can prepare your meals at home as there are no restaurants in proximity. It is in a quiet location, with a garden and a terrace, and birds singing in the morning.

Great place to start the journey via transfogarska

The hosts very absolutely fabulous. I liked the design of the room, the location was also very good in a quite area close to the Transfagarasan. There were also some restaurants in the town, just a short drive away. I can absolutely recommend this place.

The property is in a perfect location if you want to travel the Transfăgărășan!, would definitely recommend motorcyclist and car travelers alike. You can park on the property behind a gate. The room was perfect, with an amazing Mountain View and perfectly clean.

Off the beaten path stay in-between cities. The owners were so sweet, even though they don't speak english we were able to liaise with their son if we had any issues. Absolutely gorgeous views from the deck and the room was comfortable.
