Very nice and welcoming hosts. The house is located in a peaceful, relatively remote area with only one or two neighbors nearby. It was very clean and nicely decorated both inside and out. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay!

Pension of Maria is a amazing place, situated around nature and breath taking views. Very clean, cosy, The bed duvet and linen, towel so fresh and clean, smls fresh and clean. To a very high standart. I felt at home and Maria the owner is welcoming us and made us feel at home. I want to come back and see the lake and stay here.

It’s been the best accommodation in Romania we have ever tried! We stayed in an amazing wooden cottage with a wellness wood-heated hot tub just in front of the cottage. Inside there was everything you need even for a longer stay (in our case 7 nights in the end) - an extremely efficient wood-burning stove, lots of wood prepared in front of the cottage (they added some more later), a completely furnished kitchen, an upper-floor bedroom with a balcony overlooking the lake, a big comfortable sofa, exceptionally good-quality drinking water, hot water both in the kitchen and in the bathroom, a TV with YouTube access and external speakers for better TV sound. We need to highlight the hospitality of the whole host family. The owner’s parents came every third day to ask if everything was ok. Moreover, we were given Romanian locals products and two pizzas for free in a nearby pizzeria (In the village Fardea). Even if we stayed there during quite a tough winter time, we felt like at home. Both us and our beloved golden retriever enjoyed such an exceptional stay! Highly recommended! ❤️

We left before breakfast, but we had our evening meal in the restaurant and it was excellant, the staff were very friendly and most obliging.........the food was very very good, and the prices were brilliant.

Plenty of (free) parking spaces near the street, safe well-lit area to leave your car. The room itself was very clean and spacious. Heating was on point. Wifi had good connection. Even though I booked a room with “external private bathroom”, that did not bother me one bit. The bathroom was nice and clean.

We came for a sports event and were allowed to bring our bikes in the room. After the race, even tough we checked out, we were allowed to take a shower. The room was also very spacious.

It was a very relaxating vacation and i do recommend the location for family with a toddler. It was clean, quite and in nature. The animal farm was also very nice for us For us as a family with a 2 years old was perfect, because she was had things to do and we had not stress. Food avalaible, not so hot, it was a very relaxing vacation. We also visited around lake Surduc and we did a first small hicking to the waterfall Sopot. You can easly drive until the sign and then walk for 10 min. You can do it with a small kid. It was pretty ok with our dog also.
