Just what we were looking for, a remote and beautiful location to experience Sweden. Everywhere we went, we met really friendly people, and the weather was just glorious. Swimming in the archipelago was so amazing, and the pool a real treat. The local restaurant and bakery in Djurö are just superb, highly recommend them. Great comms with the owner. A really perfect stay, would love to come back!

The location was perfect. However, booking.com lists the b&b as Vaxholm. It is on a different island, Rindo, which you must take a boat/ferry to. There are limited boats to the side of the island that the b&b is on. I ended up taking a free car ferry that runs about every 1/2 hour then a bus. It was a very peaceful place. Instructions for everything were very clear to get into the b&b, for coffee, etc. Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Shared bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was adequate and there was plenty of coffee. There are reasonable bike rentals, which I did to explore the island-well worth it! There is a nice restaurant close by, worth a visit. This place is a great value for what you get and I would absolutely recommend it.

Siggesta Gård is located in the countryside of Värmdö and offers a sun terrace, parking, bookable sauna and hot tub. WiFi are free for guests.

Excellent little cottage in Stockholm's archipelago. If you are looking for a feeling of seclusion in Swedish nature, while still within reasonable driving distance of many amenities then I can highly recommend a stay at this property. Nice walks in the forests nearby, the property has direct access to the water, but there are also sandy beaches within a short drive. The property itself has everything you need to be comfortable, well equipped kitchen (hob but no oven), large fridge/freezer, working heating/hot water, grill + everything necessary to cook on it. Would certainly visit again.

Great place, big to accommodate many people, great deck and barbecue facilities. Nice walk to the beach. Antique anterior, makes it cozy. Kitchen very well equipped. Despite that it looks a little bit older from the outside, the inside was sparkling clean. Host is very responsive. Easy check-in and -out.

Perfect lodge in Linanäs, Ljusterö. Besim and his family were so welcoming, and made this the perfect retreat in the Stockholm archipelago. We made full use of the pool, sauna, lounge, and kitchen and BBQ facilities. The bedroom was cosy and comfortable; warm, but we had a fan to keep us cool in the hot weather. The shared lounge area is modern and has plenty of seating, cooking facilities, and a big tv (the world cup was on when we visited). There is a separate kitchen and BBQ in the pool house, all of which is available to guests. Easily reached by regular ferries from central Stockholm, including the steamship Storskär, which we were pleasantly surprised to find served the route. Linanäs is quiet, with a small shop and a couple of restaurants, and a fairly regular ferry service to Vaxholm and other islands in the archipelago.
