The Hagen Family was one of the most welcoming Hosts we ever experienced. The level of service and hospitality is really unmatched. We booked very spontaneous during our camping trip in glaskogen to escape torrential rain and found a very cozy and comfortable cabin with new bathroom. Breakfast was included and offered a nice selection of home made meals. The farm has sheep, chickens, pigs and cats which all have much room to live their best lives, we really enjoyed it.

Incredibly cute and cozy traditional Swedish house in a beautiful area. The small house was surprisingly spacious and the furniture & fittings so tastefully done. Stepping inside the house felt like an embrace. And it came with lovely Mette, who is a superstar in making people feel important and loved. She immediately started to phone everybody everywhere to get our oil-problem fixed. Seven stars for Mette!

Wonderful place! The ski slopes weren't open, but that wasn't a problem for us as we came here for hiking. Valfjället was a perfect spot for 'mini camping' with a fire pit and a beautiful overview. The mobile home was small but had enough space for two people. The kitchen facilities were okay, and the heating system worked perfectly.

My other accommodation got cancelled, and I booked this house because, among the remaining options along my route, it was the best choice in terms of price and location for four people. The house had two completely opposite reviews: one said it was a wonderful place, the other said it was terrible. Well, both opinions turned out to be fair, because this house can appeal to some people and not to others. This is a countryside house that looks like it was left as it was by elderly people who used to live here. It’s not a house specially prepared for rent, like the ones you might be used to. Here you’ll find a strange but real smell, lots of insects, because it’s the forest, and you are a guest here. Yes, there’s old dust and cobwebs in the fireplace. I think the owners didn’t have time to clean everything properly, and hopefully it will get cleaner over time. There’s also an old Swedish cast-iron wood stove. But there’s also a regular stove and kitchenware for cooking. You can take a short walk around, but don’t expect any breathtaking views or major sights. It’s a convenient place to stay overnight on the way from Stockholm to Norway.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, especially Nabila, who explained everything clearly and made us feel very welcome. The English breakfast and coffee were of a good standard, and we also appreciated the option of a vegetarian breakfast. There were many Norwegian guests, which created a pleasant atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Norway and looking for a comfortable stopover before a longer journey 😊
