This is an insanely beautiful getaway place. We were two couples and stayed at North and South houses. We loved the location, the place is sooo welcoming and everything seemed brand new. We have even asked for a possibility to have a bbq for our last night dinner and this accommodated immediately. We only wish we stayed longer and already recommended this place to a couple of friends who are planning a summer getaway. Thank you for wonderful memories and welcoming ambiance. We appreciate and loved everything about our stay.

It is such a nice newly renovated apartment. Modern, clean. Friendly easygoing welcome. Parking. Nice village. I loved that we could rent bikes for free. Outdoor toys for kids. I liked the roll-up curtain.

It was really clean, and very well-equipped. Also the view from the balkony was wonderful. The staff was very kind and it was very good that we had private parking lot.

The place is very nice overall - clean, quiet, and with very kind personnel. What has elevated the stay to the next level is the breakfast! It was not only a traditional "hotel" style breakfast, but we've also been asked what we wished, when we didn't know they offered some alternatives, and they freshly prepared eggs in multiple varieties for our family

We had a very nice appartment, no AC but could air out the heat(exceptionally hot weather) at the evening fast. Can be well darkened with shutters so could have a good sleep. We made some cevapi with the electric grill on the terrace. Overall well equipped - washing mashine. Hosts are kind.

We had an incredible 7 days stay in Tromeja. The house is placed in a very convenient location, away from chaos and immersed in nature, but with a quick drive you can easily find stores, shops, restaurants, etc. It has everything, dishwasher, washing machine, supplies for cleaning, for cooking…. Everything. You have 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms, even though one is without shower or bathtub, the second one has a bathtub. There is even a lovely fireplace that is definitely something we loved, especially when it was pouring rain outside! It is very big and the interior is lovely, decorated perfectly. Comfy sofa, comfy beds… It really is perfect. But what makes it even better is the host. We’ve had some issues during our trip and thanks to Nada we’ve been able to navigate through them in the best way possible. During the first day we’ve had car battery issues and we arrived very very late, but still there was someone waiting for us, in the pouring rain, to welcome us and give us the keys. During the stay we’ve had other small issues that have been addressed with extreme kindness and professionalism, something that you don’t see this everywhere. I will not go into detail but this is what elevates this from a very good stay to an excellent one; the way people handled the various issues and hiccups for us, and the kindness with which they’ve done so. I would love to come again, and I extremely recommend it for everyone who wants to visit Slovenia!

The apartment is in the perfect location of Rateče (on the cross of Three borders - Slovenia, Italy and Austria. The furniture is of quality and we had everything we needed. The owner was so kind and welcoming - we felt like home 🙂 We had a garage for our bicycles 🚲🚲 so it's perfect for any outdoor lovers.

A beautiful location and an idyllic property, both in setting in the mountains and the chalet style accommodation over 3 floors with balconies and various areas to sit and relax and drink in the mountain scenery.

The hosts were super responsive and easy to communicate with. The apartment is spotlessly clean with quality appliances. It has charm and character whilst being very practical and comfortable, the perfect blend! For example, having insect door to the terrace so we could have fresh air into the apartment with no bugs. And the sunshades on the roof windows kept the apartment cool even in hot summers day. You can do walks from the apartment, and lovely biking routes on your doorstep. We were with a young toddler and the baby bed/baby seat was perfect. Plus the location was ideal as you could also do pram walks along the valley cycle/walking paths which were flat with a great surface. Ideal for when we needed a break from carrying him in our carrier.
