The crew is amazing. You can see they are genuinely friendly. It seems they really like their jobs and interacting with people from other countries. The hotel is much more beautiful than seems on the pictures. The garden is beautiful and in the room and veranda you feel the tropical forest very close.

Very warm welcoming with a nice signature coffee-drink. Amedi is very passionate about the place and about coffee, and gave us a comprehensive and interesting tour of the place with its history and the new coffee project. The food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent in a nice setting. Strong recommendation!

Private and lovely place in the middle of the rainforest next to the waterfall. They have a special pool for fish who clean your legs and give a lovely relaxing massage. Just put your legs in and enjoy nature around you. In the late evening, there is hundreds of fruit bats coming out and flying around the valley.

Emoyeni Gardens is a wonderful hotel because everything works exactly as it should. That is very clearly due to the excellent way Jane manages the place. You can feel her presence even when she is not there, which says a great deal about the care, thought and attention behind everything. And when she is there, you have the chance to enjoy fun and interesting conversations, get plenty of excellent tips, and receive very practical help as well, for example with organising transport to the south. Thank you very much for everything — I felt extremely comfortable and well looked after throughout my stay.
