There was availability right when I needed it and the price was super reasonable for the accommodations. You get the whole 2 bedroom house with a large back yard that goes right to the lake with your own dock and another patio-like space right at the waters edge. A great place for some fabulous pictures with the lake in the background. The kitchen is huge and is stocked with most of your basic cooking essentials as far as cookware and dishes go. You do need to bring all of your own ingredients that are needed in order to prepare your meal but there is adequate space to keep it and there is a grocery store close by in case you forgot something or just want to do your shopping when you get there. The house is fairly easy to find and they make check in super easy. We got there right at the 9 o'clock hour so there was noone there to check us in, however there was a key in a lock box for us and were able to get right in when once we got there.

Backyard Garden Oasis is a really sweet little understated set of backyard bungalows just off the highway right outside Middletown. I wasn’t really looking to be wowed by accommodations. I was looking for rest, comfort, and a home base to explore from. Greta is incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and accommodating and made sure I knew how to get everything I needed from arrival to departure. I will be back many times.

The room was amazing! It had separate rooms with doors, dressers, and desks in each room with a love seat in the main room. The room was clean, beautiful, with so much room, and a large mini fridge with freezer, and a microwave. The beds were comfortable too! The staff was so kind and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect during my visit. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was great, and I felt right at home. I only had to walk across the street and parking lot for my doctor's appointment. The bar was open and served food, which was a relief for me and my son. We didn't have to leave the hotel to eat. The food was great. I was amazed how beautiful the inside of the hotel was especially with the running water structure. My son will be returning with his family.
