We got there with clear instructions. The listing for Sunsets did not do it justice. We all walked through the door and went ‘this is great’ . Lovely atmosphere. All the stuff you needed and more for a comfortable stay. We only booked 1 night and in retrospect we wished we’d had more time there.it is a perfect base for the park and we met Jeremiah who works there. He showed us all the animal tracks and gave us such good advice as to where to go/ roads to travel. Really recommend Sunsets and City Lights

Beautiful location, simple but very nice

Clean well equipped cabin in quiet village. Close to Kings Canyon national park gate, though be aware it is a very narrow twisty road to get to the cabin. WiFi available, porch and bbq area outside though we didn’t use it.

The room was nice and it was close to Sequoia National Park.

Clean, well resourced and an amazing location. The yurt was large with comfty seating, fans to help with the heat and had some basic supplies like oil for cooking, tea, coffee etc. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. The highlights were the sounds of the wildlife and there was a special area to go and watch the sunset.

What a great find! Owner was not there but really clear communication between myself and Cheyenne. We arrived quite late after having driven from Las Vegas. We found the property really easily using the sat nav. Amazing that there was a bbq there and really great facilities for outdoor cooking. We had just purchased a load of food in the nearest local supermarket so being gas it was easy to get going. Plenty of utensils as well. Nice and clean inside if a little basic. Would have been nice to explore the area but we were off to Kings Canyon the next day. Would def return to here.

Great cabin in the woods - just what we were looking for.

There is a lot more to this place than meets the eye. The owners go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. They have stocked the place with many creature comforts like Trader Joe’s meals and desserts. Also the place was extremely clean, which was important for us. The place seriously had everything and more than you could wish for. It’s basically an oasis in a the middle of nowhere. 1000% recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay that’s close to the national park.

Very well equipped cabin perfect location for both parks. Huge area of land, would be ideal for families. Plenty of condiments and really good tasting coffee supply. Full size cooker and fridge. The laundry facilities were exceptional (although I couldn't reach in the dryer)

Great location close to Sequoia and Kings Canyon.

The comfiest stay of our holiday. This cabin is full to the brim with character and great care. I enjoyed the rural location, a huge range of bird species, the games, and the practicality of a full kitchen. Highly recommend.

Such a great camp to stay at! It’s secluded,but has everything you need. The yurt was excellent, well equipped and comfortable. The shower/bathrooms were clean and even provided shower gel/shampoo. The sunset spot was fantastic!

Very quiet and no light polution area stay, beautiful area and easy to access both kings canyon and seqouia (grant grove entrance). Excellent facilities, laundry/dryer easy to use, lots of outdoor space and private parking. Comfortable bed and sofa bed. Lots of space for storage and large bathroom.

Localisation is beyong anything. The view, isolated from the rest of the world, on the top of the hill... and housing quality is really great. Loved it there. Complementary water and dressing in the fridge, lots of coffee, instant noodle, instant oats or else... kitchen and bbq well equiped, hot tub clean and functional... all was great! Only downside, this one blinder in the living room that doesnt block the light (but hey, having all other windows that actually do have legit blinder is amazing, especially as foreigner living in the US - probably the first time we stay at a place with good blinders in 4y in the US

Attention to detail to make stay very enjoysble.

The location is amazing and the location allows you to easy enter and visit the national parks. The house is just perfect, cozy environment, clean and with comfortable beds. The host is super kind and always there to reply to any question. We highly recommend this place!

Awesome and cozy, a lovely individual fireplace. Good equipment and very good mattress. At the door of king’s canyon.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, we arrived after dark and Dale helped us get oriented. The cabin itself was very clean and everything needed was available. The sky is great for stargazing

It was a true mind retreat, located far away from civilisation. The yurts are set in a large meadow, and the site extends over the whole top of the mountain. Dedicated star gazing spot, with hammock nets, and sunset views, with a swing over the valley make the evenings and nights very special.

This guest House is amazing and very comfortable. The view is stunning. Everything was great.

I’d had a horrible week at work and the weekend that I spent with my dog at Sequoia Resort was exactly what I needed. I was able to rest and recover. Just being in nature was the best thing I needed.
