We hadn't realized it before we arrived, but the village of Highland Falls had been hammered by floods three weeks before our stay. Folks were well into fixing up the town. We had a great time walking around talking to people about what had happened, and were glad we could support the local economy. The village of Cornwall and Stormking State Park were both nearby and great places to visit as well.

Interesting historic inn in the Hudson highlands. Very nicely preserved and maintained. Room was comfortable, quiet, clean, well appointed. Everything works properly (not always assured in these very old inns!). Breakfast excellent: custom cooked on the spot; nice airy dining room. Very close to Storm King Arts Center.

I recommend. We will rent a room at this renovated hotel every time we visit Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. Everything is new, clean. nice to rest. The breakfasts are not bad. Service is top notch. We love the two pools. One of our hot children loves to bathe in it. The second one is cooler. If you enter it first, then it's fine.

Staff was very friendly, was able to check in early. Close to the highway but also very nice view of sunset on Hudson. Park on the Hudson is within walking distance ~15 min walk. Good value and quality for a quick 1 night stay. Parking was plentiful. Hotel had complimentary breakfast to-go bags from 6a-10a. Plenty of storage in rooms, microwave and mini fridge. Coffee and tea available in lobby at all times.
