The fresh bread at breakfast was delicious and the restaurant's dinner service is incredible. Probably the best in Dili. The staff was very accommodating and spontaneously arranged tours for us. We felt very safe at this hotel.

Mr Tom is an amazing person and host for us who always help us very kind person... he told us local transportation, help us with many different things even took care of the noise while I was wokring there His apartment is best apartment has kitchen also with full of utensils the wifi speed is amazing more than 100 mbps so I could work remotely without any problems He made our stay really comfy and enjoyable.

Balibo Fort Hotel is a truly unique travel experience, the quality of stay was like nothing else we experienced in Timor Leste. The rooms themselves are modern, very clean and wonderfully decorated, whilst being surrounded by elements of the fort. The pool was an absolute highlight, with wonderful views of the local mountain ranges. The food was excellent, and there is a huge breakfast. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, it was so lovely to see so many young people getting experience in hospitality. The hotel is in very close proximity to the Australian Flag House/Museum, and there is a wonderfully kept museum onsite at the entrance gateway, with a broader focus on Timor Leste's history.
