I had a wonderful stay! The decor was charming and thoughtfully designed. The beds were comfortable, and the room temperature was just right for a restful night's sleep. Breakfast was a good, with a great variety of options. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area!

This place is a hidden jewel near Liege in Val Dieu. The valley is pitoresc and the house is homy and here you can feel really welcome. We had a wonderful weekend at La Maison Vienvenue. The charming mansion was the perfect base for our cycling trip through the beautiful Ourthe River valley. Afterwards, we enjoyed the evening sun with a local beer on the lovely terrace in the garden. The rooms are authentically decorated with beautiful furniture and comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and varied, including fresh fruit salad, bacon and eggs, and a selection of cheeses. We were warmly welcomed by the host, who also provided us with excellent, well-planned cycling routes and recommended a great nearby restaurant for Saturday night.

This year I stayed in around 20 different accomodations in about 9 countries and this has been one of the most special ones. The building itself has a rustic and very cozy decoration and the staff goes the extra mile to make your experience the best possible. Would absolutely repeat. Also relevant to mention, for breakfast there's an exquisite selection of cheeses and cured meats, good bread and local honey among other options. 10/10.
